Service was good. Staff was friendly. Salad was okay. Didn't compare to a Longhorn salad. One of my favorite salads is Longhorn's Southern Fried Chicken Salad with bacon honey mustard dressing. Even without the chicken, it is a heck of a salad.
I tried the fried seafood platter to get a broad idea of their offerings. Generally, it was heavily breaded and a little overcooked. Portions were generous. There were crabclaws, shrimp, oysters, and fish fillets. Though I usually prefer shrimp, then oysters, then crabclaws, with fish fillet coming in last, in this case, the best item was the fish.
They seem to specialize in oysters and smoked seafood. To me, smoked seafood often has seafood overwhelmed by smoke. I chose not to try that as the waitress said the fried was better!
It was just okay. I may try it again at some point in the future, but no time soon. Too many others to try.
