Bayou Joe's is what I would call a "seafood shack," for it really is a shack that sits on a pier out over the water in Massalina Bayou in Panama City. We came in on a "ferry boat" cruise out of Bay Point, and stepped right onto the dock and thus, into the restaurant. It was a good experience. The food is very good. The prices are fair. You can get lunch for under $10.00 (the special) or spend more. The desserts are VERY good!!
Over 30 of us descended on the tiny restaurant at once, and they served our boat party, as well as regular customers, with good attitudes. It took a bit longer than normal to be served, but not bad at all for the crowd. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It is unique and accommodating.
