“Hatch your own baby gator!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

This is one of Floridas RARE "Old Time Attactions". It is NOT a "tourist trap" with theme rides and computer generated thrills. It is the REAL deal with SW Florida critters living in the country boonies of Palmdale, Florida. See "Goliathe", a real, LIVE 15 foot, 45 year-young Crocodile! He is an amazing creature to behold! During August, guests can pay an additional $10.00 to hold a gator hatchling and help it hatch right in the palm of your hands! Talk about a priceless memory!! The staff are a genrational family and are the opitime of "country friendly". Do yourself and your family a favor and make the trip to little 'ole Palmdale on SW Route 27 and live an experience of your lifetime! Your kids and grandkids will have a GREATstory to tell THEIR kids and grandkids!

“Attended on Birthday!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We were fortunate that the day we chose to visit Gatorama was one of the days new alligators were hatching. Alan, the owner of the attraction, gave a very interesting and educational presentation on the gathering, incubation and hatching of the alligator eggs. All of the children attending had the wonderful opportunity to hold in their hands an egg as the young alligator worked it's way out of the shell. Having passed the attraction many times on our way across the state, we were finally able to take a few hours and actually see what we had only speculated about. Feeding time was special. One of the attendants, Tiffany, called each of the alligators by name as they awaited and lunged out of the water for a portion of chicken. The entire staff, especially Hilda, were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Dan J.

Super place to see huge prehistoric beasts in both pens and in water. Powerful jaws that scare the heck out of you. Staff was great and really contribute to the experience. Make sure you say hello to Hilda in the shop. She was so great I didn't care how much I spent! Go there. You will loveit

“Awesome experience!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

We recently purchased a vacation home in Southwest Florida & brought our 9 year-old grandson down for vacation. I grew up in Florida & have always been fascinated w/ gators, My husband & grandson had not experienced the real florida, tho ~ until Gatorama!! The number & variety of gators & crocs was so impressive. We were all excited to see so many. When Caleb asked if we'd like to hold one, it got even better! Caleb was so informative and made our visit even more memorable. My grandson was thrilled when he got his picture taken holding the gator & then, he got to take the tape off his snout. If you ask him what was the best part of his Florida vacation, he says "Holding the alligator at Gatorama!". Hilda was very nice as we looked for a souvenir in the gift shop. The peacocks & birds are beautiful, the racoons are hilarious, and the gators impressive. We had such a great visit. Thanks again, Caleb for putting such a nice personal touch on our day! We all want your job! The Conigliaro Family

“Great Attraction!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

What a cool place! We have driven past it for years and always talked about stopping, but it was never convenient to stop. Yesterday my wife and I decided to take the hour drive to Gatorama.
It was great! We should have gone along time ago. And was truly surprised that they had Parrots and a Panther and a Bobcat! The Gators were great, especially they feeding show. All the staff was very helpful and polite. Hilda was a big help, full of information. It is a must stop if you are driving thru Palmdale, FL, and well worth the ride if you live out of town.
