My husband had training classes being held at Innisbrook, so my 7 year old son and I decided to tag along for a mini vacation. We were very happy with our accomadations at Innisbrook, yea the outside of the condos are a throw back, but the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed.
We had a small kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. We had a full size table to eat snacks or meals that we brought in. My only complaint is the bathroom is a little on the small size considering the room size. They had free washer and dryers right on our floor, so I was able to wash up the sandy beach clothes before we returned home. We enjoyed the balcony off our room that overlooked one of the golf courses. It pretty much has a wall of windows, so the room was bright and airy.
My son completely enjoyed the Loch Ness pool. It has a sand area to play and zero entry. The slides are short, but are great fun, for kids and adults. My son enjoyed standing under the waterfalls. They have a full container of toys for you to use, so you don't have to drag them with you in your suitcase. We ate lunch at the small resturant right there at the pool. It was a bit pricey, but was very good.
No, we didn't golf, but the courses looked very nice. They also have lots of other activities availiable.
We did not have any trouble finding the resort, we just took Hwy 60 to Hwy 19 and then turned on Innisbrook Drive. We found lot's of restarants within driving distance. Also the Front Desk staff was very helpful with directions or ideas.
