For this to be anewer hotel it was in very bad shape. The floors where dirty and the hall ways where not vac for the whole stay we where there for. The towels they put in the room for you to dry off with are hand towels not bath towels. The bed are hard. The pilows are flat and have no form to them. The lady at the front desk when we arrived was short with us and not that friendly. It is the worst microtel i have ever stayed at and will not stay there again and would not suggest it to any one i know.

We have stayed in the Palm Coast Microtel for the last 3 years for the Summer Daytona races. The stays have been excellent--this is a very convenient place to stay--easy to access the interstate and go right to the raceway. Very quiet and clean place--lots of convenient eating and shopping places nearby. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I stayed at the Microtel on our way to Miami for a cruise. We initially booked based on the price in order to save $$ as well as the good reviews. The rooms are basic but extremely clean and well kept. The breakfast is simple but adequate. Don't be surprised to see pets around, but there isn't a pet smell and we never heard any of them bark. Overall we were very happy with our short stay here.

This was the first time we stayed at a Microtel and we were very pleased and surprised by just how nice it was and all the extras it offered! We first got the reservation on hotel.com but then went to the Microtel website and got a better room for a better price. They are part of the Wyndham chain so you can use your Rewards Membership. The front desk staff were very friendly, both at check-in and out, which both went quickly and efficiently. As you can see from the picture, the rooms are very roomy with two queen beds, and nice sitting area by the window, nice free-standing closet, desk with chair, mini-fridge, microwave, hairdryer, and flat screen TV. Coffee at the front, 24/7, and free continental breakfast which had coffee, juice, yogurt, bagels, and muffins. Swimming pool on site and plenty of shopping and nice restaurants, within minutes. Also, free Wi-Fi which worked great on both phone and laptop. When you consider all this was at a price of $64.99, it is a super value for a quick overnight stay, though, I would have been willing to stay all weekend if needed.

Room Tip: The two queen bed, rooms are very spacious, go to their website for best price.

This was a last minute booking on the Daytona 500 weekend and our expectations weren't high as they still had rooms available. We were pleasantly surprised and grateful to find a pet-friendly property as we didn't have time to make arrangements for my dogs before the trip. Our first room was in a great location on the second floor but with easy access to the stairwell and side door for dog-walking. Unfortunately, our bathroom light was inoperable. The response from the front desk was very fast, but new bulbs didn't fix the problem so they gave us a different room. That key opened a room that was already occupied so we got another one. Unfortunately, our 3rd room was not as good as our first one, even without a bathroom light. But we knew it was an extremely busy weekend and they probably didn't have a whole lot of flexibility for moving us among pet friendly rooms so we made do :) The room had probably experienced a plumbing leak at some point in the past and a strong mildew odor lingered in the room. Also, the TV remote did not work. Had we not already moved our bags, dogs and kennel so much, I probably would have just had them put us back in the first room, but I was ready to get on with our short getaway and we had a race to get to!

The rooms have a cushioned window seat with was a lovely feature and there was plenty of space in the rooms. A continental breakfast was provided the next morning. The front desk was easy to work with and quick to try to remedy our problem. For the most part, the hotel was a quiet facility. For the most part. I'm not sure if it was another guest next door or if the cleaning staff actually came to clean the adjoining room in the middle of the night, but there was quite the commotion involving lot of movement and machinery (vacuum, hairdryer?? not sure) and banging around which lasted about 30-35 minutes right in the middle of the night.

The beds were comfortable and showers were hot with great pressure. We were more grateful to have found the affordable, pet-friendly accommodations than we were inconvenienced by the maintenance issues (which I'm sure were isolated anyway). I would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: The end rooms on the second floor were pretty quiet, away from elevator noise and convenient to exit...

This is a clean, quiet, comfortable hotel, close to the interstate. It's a no-frills place but doesn't feel like it. Comfortable bed, coffeemaker, a breakfast corner although we left too early to see what was offered. We stopped on a driving trip to Key West and made a reservation for the same trip. When plans had to be changed, Suzanne Akley the GM was very helpful. Diana, the assistant manager, goes out of her way to make your stay pleasant -- she gave up an upgrade to suite when we arrived early.

We have stayed at this hotel twice with our 2 small dogs, September and November 2011. The rooms are very clean and the beds really comfortable. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping are excellent. Diane at the front desk was especially helpful. The breakfast is fine, muffins, bagels, cereal, yougurt, etc. The only tiny complaints we had (with our November stay) were that the tv needed to be upgraded (old school big and bulky with a small screen) and by 9 am there was very little hot water for showering. I would definately recommend this place to anyone traveling with pets.
