“Poor man's resort”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

I'm sitting by the pool on our last day. You drive bay rough area town togetherness. It you use the Marriott's directions they take you 8 miles pass to a nicer area then drive back. I would use their directions. The condo is very dated. Needs new everything. The place 20 years a go was really Nice I bet. The chair by the pool I sit in had food smeared all over it. You have to bring your own towels if you forget you have to go back to your room and that's another 20 minutes. The hallways haven't been cleaned in years it looks like. Very little food any where. Like sandwich's. the bartenders would rather talk than take an order. This is being kind a 3 star resort not 4. Singer Island is not great, go somewhere else.

Room Tip: Stay in the main building. If you stay in the last you spend all your time walking back and forth. T...

Stayed here July 19-25 on an II exchange. We asked for a high floor with a view and they gave us a few choices. Stayed in the Pompano building on the 3 rd floor that has views of the pool and the ocean over the palm trees. Very crowded time share resort with higher floors going to owners so happy with what we got. Glad we didn't stay in the Kingfisher building as it was away from the other buildings and the pool area there wasn't as nice. I would try to avoid that building if you can. Whether you go with a group or as a couple as I did you will have a great time. My wife and I spend the week on the beach. 2 chairs, an umbrella and small table were $30 a day or $25 a day if you pay for multiple days. They constantly re arrange your umbrella so you have shade the whole time if you want. I think it was well worth it and would recommend it but there were many people lying on towels and using their own chairs as well. The sand was powdery white, the water perfectly clear and blue at a perfect 84 degrees. Had great lunches and drinks everyday at the pool bar. Most drinks are $10 with $2 off happy hour 11-1 and 5-7. Also two special of the day drinks at $6 all day.
Ate off the resort every night. There are tons of choices from walking distance to a 20 minute drive.
Remember this is a time share resort so there will not be people waiting on you like at a Marriott hotel. It is though one of the best exchanges we have ever made and we travel 3-4 times a year. Highly recommend

We look forward to staying at this property, having been here many times over the years. The physical property is large and offers a visual escape.
From check in through to maintenance and housekeeping, the staff is welcoming, attentive and always ready to say HI with a sincere smile. Their attitude lets you know that they are there to help you enjoy your vacation, what ever your needs. ..

We told the Receptionist during check in that we were there celebrating our 52nd Wedding Anniversary,to our surprise a small package of southwestern style snacks were delivered to our unit with a Congratulatory Card signed by all at the front desk. A Beautiful gesture with our overwhelming appreciation.

There are daily scheduled activities for children and adults- some are free, some require a fee.
The exercise room is well equipped, a one hour water aerobics class is offered free each morning with instructors taking first timers and experienced guests through the steps for a great work out.
Watching families with and without children and those otherwise, an atmosphere of a good time was evident. Details are in place for everyone to partake in a good .time.
.

Room Tip: Villas are pre- assigned; however it never hurts to ask to be located in a unit facing the ocean, if...

I stayed here for 7 nights and was very impressed. There was 6 of us in the party and we had two rooms which had a door inbetween them which made it very handy. The rooms themselves were brilliant and they were well equipt. We had televisions, free wifi, comfy beds, comfy sofas, a dinning table, all kitchen appliances and more. One of the master bedrooms even had a hot tub inside which was brilliant! The staff were always very friendly and on hand to help. It was very pleasant to walk around a complex where people say hello to you. The pools were open from 7am - 10pm and were always clean. There is also a spa pool which was great to soak in. Lots of sunbeds available and great access to the beach. There were many onside activities such as mini golf, volleyball and shuffleboard. I would highly recommend a stay here and will hope to come back in the future.

I absolutely loved everything about this resort. My children can't stop talking about our stay and wondering when we can go back. The rooms are very clean and everyone was so friendly ad helpful! There were plenty of fun activities for every age group, although my family was perfectly content to walk to the ocean or the pool.

The neighborhood around the resort is a little questionable, but there are plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance from the hotel.

My only complaint is there was a slight miscommunication with the housekeeping and service desk. My son made a huge mess in the hotel room after housekeeping had left. I called and asked for a broom and dustpan and was told someone would be there within the hour, but no one came. I found a cleaning cart in the hallway and asked to borrow them from a maid and was able to take care of the mess and the problem was solved. It was just atypical of my past experiences with Marriott to have to chase down something I needed. Otherwise, everything was fantastic and we would definitely return when we get to Palm Beach again.

I chose this resort because of the fact that it was located on the beach. My husband and I went with our 2 kids ages 21 and 18. The beach was beautiful but they were overcharging for 2 chairs and an umbrella at $30.00 per day, therefore, sat on our towels. The water was a perfect temperature and the waves were perfect. It was also very clean. There are 3 pools in the resort and definitely a challege to locate a chair unless you are there early and umbrellas are scarce. There were two daily drink specials at the bar for $6.00 which is reasonable because they were in large cups, however, depending on the liquor you ask for some drinks can run you as much as 13.95. The chicken and shrimp quessadillas are a must have! Usually I am home sick after a few days but this time did not want the vacation to end. We all enjoyed this vacation and would definitely vacation there again!

I was told a few times this was a 5 Star resort. Umm..... No way. More like a 3 Star. The service was ok. The front desk personnel were not very friendly on the day shift, but much nicer on the afternoon/evening shift. Also, they advertise a shuttle service. There is NO SHUTTLE SERVICE! The desk will call a cab, car service or a bus, if you want to go somewhere off the resort. We stayed on the 6th floor in a 1 bedroom villa. Very nice room and a beautiful view of the ocean. There is NO onsite restaurant. There is a Tiki bar, with ok sandwiches. The store called "The Marketplace" offered snacks and food to cook yourself. The sub shop has terrible pizza. The overall look was beautiful. They have 3 pools. But, if you`re not out there by 10am, there are no chairs available. This is because of the many kids and teens at the resort. If you`re a couple on your honeymoon, renewal of vows or just vacation, this is not the place to go. A family resort is definitely what this is. Also, there is NO CASH ACCEPTED!!! It is a credit card accept resort only. That seemed strange as we were told that after we got there. NO CASH is NOT advertised anywhere. We still had a good time, but this rates a 3 Star only.

Room Tip: Ask for a room 4th floor or higher. The view is 10 times better. Stay in the 3 main buildings and no...
