“Christmas Eve December 24, 2012”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Going out to dinner on a holiday is always tricky, even with a reservation. So many people, large parties, small parties, and regulars, along with hopeful walk in’s all looking forward to a wonderful evening. Add to that a few employees “calling out “and you have the potential for delays. So you expect to wait a little longer to be seated. The wait was well worth it. We were catered to by the bartender before we were seated and then by the waiter after we were seated, All the while listening to soft holiday music provided by a musician. The owner made several visits to our table to apologize for the wait and to make sure that our meal was all that we expected. Overall we gave them an A+. We ordered from the full menu not the usual limited menu so many restaurants turn to on the Holidays. Our appetizers’ were delicious. The claims were tender, tasty and perfectly cooked. The salads were fresh, the eggplant was tender and tasty and the meatballs were moist and delicious. The entrées were excellent as well. The veal chop was cooked to perfection, the snapper was fresh and moist, and the veal pram was done perfectly accompanied by penne pasta with a delicate light sauce. The house wine is always good and the warm homemade bread is a nice touch. Overall they consistently provide excellent food and service day in and day out regardless of the volume of diners.

“DO NOT GO THERE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

Lobster night 1 1/2 lb lobster, wine salad sides $19.95. Sounds great? Yes, but one catch. There were four of us and two had lobster The other person had a true 1 1/2 LB one . Mine??? Probably not even 1 1/4 LB. Owner said in so many words that is the way it is. The restaurant was only about 20% full. Now I can see why. My husband had chicken parm and it was WAY OVERDONE. The other person had chicken marsala and he said his was good. Not very good odds. Would not even go back for a free meal.

“A "REAL" Italian Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

WOW!!! What a treat!!! Fantastic food, Awesome service, and Wonderful ambience. I would suggest that they rename Palm Beach Gardens to "Tuscany"!!!

One word of caution - Make sure you come hungry or else you will be carrying the remains of the ample portions home to reheat for delicious leftovers.

Mangia!!!!

“Odd & Small, But Worth Trying”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

This is a fairly small and very dimly lit dining area attached to an even smaller but brightly lit bakery. The children's menu is poorly thought out, with fried cheese sticks being a dinner option. The cheese itself was tasty but a child's portion was three extremely large pieces. I'd estimate over a pound of cheese on her plate with a sidecar of sauce. (This would be better suited to an appetizer than a child's menu.) Each of the three breaded cheese portions was closer in size to a bunned hot dog than the small sticks (or flat squares) she anticipated. Next time we'll have her share from our plates. Everything we ordered was well made and delicious. I especially enjoyed the Grandma's Pizza - a slightly spiced crushed tomato pie with a moderate crust - not quite full sicilian but more than a standard pie. I also appreciated the bread basket. With the low carb / no gluten craze sweeping the area it's become almost impossible to find a decent bread basket in this area. We had a choice of two flavors, both expertly made. While the atmosphere (small bar in a nightclub?) doesn't really fit the menu (family style italian food) the overall experience is worth checking out. I had no problem being seated on a weeknight, but I think reservations are required during a weekend in the season.

“New find in jupiter, fl”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

From the very start when Carly, the friendly and vivacious hostess, was standing at the front door and greeted us with a great welcome and wonderful smile, we knew we had come to the right place. John, our waiter was everything a waiter should be, friendly, courteous and informative. The early bird special, a common occurrence in Southern Florida, included an appetizer, bread, salad, choice of either red or white wine, and the entree, all were excellent and well prepared. Our choice this evening was salmon. We could not finish the large servings! Upon leaving I asked the hostess if she was related to the family ownership of this Italian Restaurant. She was not related--just does an outstanding job! I recommend this restaurant very highly.
