“The Best place for a date!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Just loved the elegance of the old world charm. The Gold room (ceilings) and the gigantic fireplace and the aquarium fish at one of your bars. wow! A fascinating characteristic Hotel. My all time favorite hotel and of course Palm Beach is magnificent.

Room Tip: Any room. Just to be at this hotel and magnificent property is enough!

“Extraordinary hotel with old style luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

This was our first stay at this hotel. The palm-tree lined drive up to the front of the hotel was lovely. We ended up with a room on the side of the hotel, one floor above the beach. Very luxurious. Nothing next to us for some ways and a beautiful stretch of sandy beach and blue water. Beautiful! The Seafood Grill with an aquarium for the top of the bar and great views of the water was nice. All of the food and wait staff were terrific. Very responsive and accommodating. More than impressive decor throughout the hotel. A 6' fresh flower arrangement in the lobby. Beautiful murals on the ceiling of one of the round glassed in rooms that we were in for a meeting. The HMF club which is new was quite nice. You can walk to town from here and there were lots of good restaurants nearby. We've stayed at Four Season's properties and the Ritz before but this place is certainly their equal. An old hotel that has been very well maintained and updated. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

The casual luxury of this hotel makes everyone feel comfortable beyond reason! The surrounding beauty is absolutely staggering. With 5 swimming pools, the needs of any guest is met beautifully.
The variety of restaurants will suit all your needs.

Room Tip: Room 4112 overlooks the Palm Court.....so peaceful.

“Old Style Luxury”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Take a step back in time to old style luxury. One arrives at The Breakers after driving through tony Palm Beach. Entry to the hotel property is imposing, down a long palm tree lined driveway to what looks like a cross between a castle and a cathedral. The public spaces, lobby, bar, etc are a bit over the top but this is what the rich and famous no doubt wanted in their Florida resort at the time the Breakers was built. My room was on the small side, no view (other than the parking lot) but otherwise well furnished and equipped. The bathroom was also well equipped but had a very high step over into the tub/shower combination. I did not experience any of the amenities of the hotel such as the pool, spa or golf course as I was there to attend a conference which took all my time. The banquet food was better than most and the banquet service less obtrusive than in most banquet hotels. My only complaint was the acoustics in the large meeting room could have been better.

Room Tip: Get an ocean view room.

“Most Incredible Way To Spend Mother's Day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Five star Mother's Day brunch! Most elegant, most delicious brunch i've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and rich with history. The decor is elegant, extraordinary and impressive. The Mother's Day brunch consisted of every kind of food you could possibly want. I don't even know where to begin...from the caviar to the piano player in the middle of the buffet....there is something for everyone. If you have the chance...this is the BEST way to treat mom...and everyone else in your party. Top notch!
