Take a step back in time to old style luxury. One arrives at The Breakers after driving through tony Palm Beach. Entry to the hotel property is imposing, down a long palm tree lined driveway to what looks like a cross between a castle and a cathedral. The public spaces, lobby, bar, etc are a bit over the top but this is what the rich and famous no doubt wanted in their Florida resort at the time the Breakers was built. My room was on the small side, no view (other than the parking lot) but otherwise well furnished and equipped. The bathroom was also well equipped but had a very high step over into the tub/shower combination. I did not experience any of the amenities of the hotel such as the pool, spa or golf course as I was there to attend a conference which took all my time. The banquet food was better than most and the banquet service less obtrusive than in most banquet hotels. My only complaint was the acoustics in the large meeting room could have been better.

Five star Mother's Day brunch! Most elegant, most delicious brunch i've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and rich with history. The decor is elegant, extraordinary and impressive. The Mother's Day brunch consisted of every kind of food you could possibly want. I don't even know where to begin...from the caviar to the piano player in the middle of the buffet....there is something for everyone. If you have the chance...this is the BEST way to treat mom...and everyone else in your party. Top notch!

Among other top hotels I have ever visited. The grounds, facilities, guest room, and food were all terrific. Imagine a wonderful lobby that you can actually sit and converse in. The new bar restaurant HMF is a terrific addition. The pols and beach are first class.
Of course it's pricey this is Palm Beach.

I just spent four nights at this beautiful, elegant, historic hotel. The setting is beautiful, right on the beach and very refined.
The staff is experienced, courteous and aim to please.
Don't even think of missing the brunch at the Circle Restaurant on Sundays. It was a feast to remember. I overdosed on every type of shellfish, but stayed away from the sumptuous, and gorgeous desserts.
The hotel comes with a high price tag, but well worth the splurge. It's on my list of hotels to revisit as often as I can.
