“Tired guest rooms need a facelift”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

Greeted and checked in very quickly--Cooper could not have been more professional or helpful. When I noticed that the room only had foam pillows, Cooper personally delivered them to my room. When I went to get a drink, I realized that there were no glasses in the room. Not wanting to bother him again, I walked to the front desk for some. My choices were either paper cups or wine glasses. Unfortunately, this was my second stay at a Fairfield Inn in three days and the decor and room was dated and needs to be updated. I woke up with a backache following a night's sleep on the antique spring mattress. The ceilings were low and I had to bend over to shower -- really helped the backache! The only redeeming quality was our view of the intercoastal canal. The breakfast the next morning was not up to standards either.

Would only consider staying here again if they updated the rooms.

We had a king executive suite with deck overlooking the international waterway and pool. the beach is a 5 minute walk on the other side of the hotel.--great location to enjoy the beach, and view the water and hear the birds. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was sufficient. There is a laundry room for the guests which is great as were there for 5 nights. The beds and pillows were not the greatest but not that bad either. The hide-a-bed was small and uncomfortable so we booked another room for the 2 in our party who had to sleep on it. We would stay there again. the location is great and quiet. the word executive was a little misleading as it was just an ordinary room.

Room Tip: make sure you get a room on the poolside with view of international waterway

The Fairfield in Palm Beach, FL is wonderful. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and never experienced anything but great care and attention. The manager, Tisha is outstanding and obviously a wonderful manager as her staff is top notch. We highly recommend this hotel. It has everything you could possibly want. To top it all off it is right across the street from the beach. Beach, pool, exercise room, etc. What more can you ask for. Stay here and save some money and get all the amenities.

I just had another great three-night stay at this wonderful hotel, true Marriott quality. The location cannot be beat, walk to the Lake Worth beach. The rooms are always clean, and most rooms have at least a small view of the intracoastal. The staff are always helpful and nice. The great place for breakfast, John G's, is no longer on the beach, but just a couple miles south in Manalapan, across from the Ritz. Don't miss this place for breakfast, if you are able to get there.

This hotel never fails me--thank you for another wonderful stay.

Had a great stay at the Fairfield Inn for 2 nights on 23 and 24 April 2012.
Met by a knowledgeable "Jean" at reception who helpfully put us in the right direction for local Restaurant's, which did not disappoint.
The room was very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast a good aspect to the place.
The beach area a block away was under reconstruction so a bit messy but this of course had nothing to do with the Hotel, which I would recommend although my preference would be for a few nights only.

We stayed in a suite facing the intercoastal water way for 3 nights. Two adults and two kids. The hotel was clean and run professionally. The kids were very happy with the pool. The room was great!. 2 queen beds and a pull out for the kids. The beds were comfortable with great pillows. Free bottles of water, coffee and munchies were provided in the room daily. The free breakfast every morning was a pleasant surprise. We were impressed because any other hotel in the Palm Beach area was $300- $600 a night. This place is a deal! We would highly reccommend it and will stay there in the future.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the intercoastal waterway are a bit more but well worth it.

I pretty much always base my hotel stays on trip advisor reviews and I've never been steered wrong. Fairfield Inn and Suites was great for our 4 night visit to see family in the area. We loved the location - not only near our family, but sandwiched between the beach and Intracoastal Waterway. We did not have a suite since we were using Mariott points (although I did research prices and they were great deals), and would have liked to eventually have received the extra cot we requested so we all didn't have to share beds (two adults, two kids). But, the room was spacious enough. We could see the waterway from our room, and opened the balcony door from time to time. Room was clean and beds were fine. We had to keep asking for additional towels (they never quite seemed to grasp that we were FOUR people and thus needed FOUR towels at a time...). Breakfast was a great value. My son loved the waffle maker, my daughter loved all the cereal choices and oatmeal, and I was happy to see yogurt and fresh fruit! Coffee was available all day from a single brewer vending machine - not bad. :)

Staff was helpful and friendly. They steered us to a great restaurant right on the beach, a few minutes walk across the street, when we arrived, for lunch. Also had beach towels available to bring to the beach later. I loved running along the path by the waterway!

All in all, it's a Fairfield Inn... nothing high class, but friendly, clean and perfect for a family visit.

Room Tip: Ask for the second or third floor for a better view!
