Nicely located, but don't get tricked, there are NO ocean views here. The hotel has a much nicer east building and a very marginal west building...INSIST on the former, because the latter is dirty, aged, with paint drips and dirty, scuffed garish colored walls and tiny baths with mold noted on the grout. The lobby is quite acceptable, BUT the hallways in the west building are dark, dank, dreary with dirty, worn carpet and TERRIBLE lighting. And they add on a $17 parking charge per day if you want to park on premises. Street parking is extremely limited. They now CHARGE big bucks for the breakfast that was a motivating reason to book here before. Overall, overpriced for the room, no ocean views. I booked this hotel based on previous reviews....had I known then what I know now, I NEVER would have booked...there are better deals on the beach. You need a car if you want to do anything more than tan.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights. We also requested on-line a king size bed and we were given one of the newly renovated rooms with double beds and a balcony facing Royal Palm Way. We took the room with the double beds and the balcony. We're glad we did. The balcony was nice to sit on and relax and the room was clean and comfortable. We really tried not to spend alot of time in our room only because we wanted to be out and about enjoying Palm Beach. And our air conditioner worked fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. The positives outweigh the negatives at this hotel. If you compare the price of other hotels in Palm Beach, this was a real value to me.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The main problem we had was the A/C. It did not work and we had to change rooms. The GM did upgrade our room to a junior suite but it was still a hassle and still felt a little warm. The location was good as we wanted to be able to shop and walk down the beach. We only stayed for 1 night as we were on our way to Key West. I probably will not stay at this hotel again because better hotels can be found for less expensive. Unless you want to be near Worth Ave!

Don't trust pictures on the internet...the hotel had a decent lobby and lobby restaurant but beyond that the place was low rent. While walking the hallways to the room I thought i was in a Motel 6. The rooms while not big were clean - but they didn't have the king bed i requested. Only 17 of 99 rooms have king beds, fyi. The free breakfast buffet was great. The pool and deck was nice but only had SIX lounge chairs. Which is crazy for a hotel with almost a hundred rooms. All in all an ok experience at $109 a night but if you pay anymore than that it is not worth it quality wise. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and 5 blocks from Worth street - so a good location. The parking was free but the lot is very small -- not sure if that was a summer thing only. Nice staff.
