“Meets High Expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

I frankly do not expect a lot from South Florida hotels but was pleased that the FS Palm Beach met the expectations one should have of a FS property.

Common areas very nicely done in typical understated FS design. Bell and reception staff were friendly and accommodating. Living room was relaxing (coffee in the a.m.). Library has three good computers. Hallways clean and in a nice cool pastel blue. From lobby to room to dining area to pool, one always felt you were in a top notch hotel.

Our premier ocean view room was spacious. Ample closet, dressers, good size bathroom, comfortable seating area (even with two doubles), good sized balcony with table and chairs (would have preferred lounging rather than dining-type chairs). Comfortable beds and pillows. Linens soft. Towels good but a bit worn. Strong shower. Room exceptionally clean (not even finger prints on the sliding glass doors!). Great view of the ocean and gorgeous at night when the moon was out.

Food at the beach and pool: limited selection but good quality. Breakfast: expensive (as expected) but good quality and service (ordered off the menu instead of buffet); wait staff friendly remembered our name each morning. Did not dine in for dinner.

Pool of decent size, but it appeared to be a wedding weekend and was crowded with children (it was after back to school week and before labor day weekend). Comfortable lounge chairs set up with terry covers.

Beach area is quite nice with staff readily available to set up chairs and umbrellas, refill water and take drink and lunch orders.

So here were the very few shortcomings:

1. Toiletries in the bathroom were in short supply when we arrived. Problem partly addressed with a note to housekeeping next morning. It seems they are a bit stingy with the goods.

2. Turn-down service was inconsistent (some days there, other days not).

3. Pool and beach staff were attentive but vacated lounge chairs with used towels and empty plates of food sat for far too long after having been abandoned. Also, staff seemed to tolerate early morning "reservations" for strings of lounge chairs that sat unused for hours on end.

4. Overnight parking fee annoying (making up for that a bit was free basic wi-fi).

All in all, a very relaxing and satisfying five days. Would certainly return.

Room Tip: Direct ocean view added a lot to the resort feeling of the room.

We have just returned from the Four Seasons in Palm Beach. We had beautiful rooms (Premium rooms overlooking the ocean). We stayed with our daughter and her small well behaved dog. What a welcome when we arrive, the reception is so polite and efficient.

All the staff is pleasant and recognize us from our previous stay. The young people at the beach are also efficient, devoted and pleasant.

I had a diificult year with people around me being sick and this vacation was just what I needed to regain my strength. We look forward to staying again at the Four Seasons in Palm Beach very soon.

We do travel a great deal in Relais et Châteaux especially in France, USA and Canada every year and the Four Seasons is one of our top hotels, not too big and with such an extraordinary service on all counts.

Room Tip: Personnally I love the premium rooms overlooking the ocean.

This hotel is amazing ! It is spotless and so beautiful.

We arrived at the end of august and were pleasantly greeted at the front desk. The person at the front desk was named Zander. His customer service was fantastic and he made us feel so welcome. Throughout our stay he gave us many recommendations on what to do in Palm beach. All of the staff members had outstanding customer service and enhanced our stay.

The rooms are huge and very modern! We had a king size bed which was very comfy, the TV was massive and had hundreds of channel options. The bathroom was all marble-very fancy, with a large shower and deep bath with a separate room with a toilet in. This room is the most luxurious one I've stayed in !

We had breakfast at the hotel, its $30 for the buffet breakfast which may sound a lot but it is worth every penny. There was lots of selection like bacon, eggs, pastries, pancakes, salmon, fruit etc ! We also had lunch here which was so tasty , they have such a wide range of foods available.

The hotel has a private part of the beach, It is such an amazing beach. You can literally fall out of bed onto the beach its that close. The staff on the beach set beds up for you as you arrive and bring you little tasters every so often like fruit, slushes, cocktails etc. They also ensure you also have a glass of ice cold water to keep you refreshed at all times. The sand is white and the sea is crystal clear. We were lucky enough to have a celebrity sat next to us on the beach - Robin Thicke ! He has good taste in hotels !

The hotel had many facilities such as a good, library, internet desks etc.

The pool was so nice and the perfect size with plenty of sun loungers around.

The hotel's location was excellent, it was nearby to restaurants and shopping malls . The views were incredible.

If i had to some this hotel up in 2 words it would be 'THE BEST'.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palm Beach.

Cannot wait to go there again !

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view, the beach is directly behind the pool so you'll have both in sight .

Firstly thank you to the staff, from the reception welcome to the restaurant (Rick), the bar (Christine, Matthew and Nathan) and the Spa (Tanis) you all made us feel great.

The rooms are pleasant, good size and if you get an ocean view then a pleasure to lounge around, it isn't a designer heaven, it's all laid back and comfortable.

The restaurant the first night made a slight service hiccup but it never happened again and after we met Rick everything was perfect. Food good, because the hotel is isolated we ate at the restaurant or the bar and didn't run out in a week of things to eat.

The beach is lovely, sea warm and pool area really good.

We had an amazing week here and can't wait to come back, the best thing about this hotel is the people, the staff are outstanding, one of the best hotel experiences I've had on the world, they make you feel as though you are staying in a large beach house. Awesome, thank you very much

Beautiful resort, beach, and excellent service. The dining had a great atmosphere and can not even describe the meals, delicious. Had the pleasure to have a lobster bake one night, and was phenomenal. The rooms are not only beautiful, but relaxing heaven! Will absolutely spend time here again in the future!!!

I stayed here last night on a business trip and expected the usual very good Four Seasons experience. I had to change my room because after only 30 minutes I was getting bitten by fleas in the room. The room that I changed to had a terrible damp and musty odor. I ordered room service and the chicken soup was the worst I have ever had (how can you mess up chicken soup??) I went to sleep and was woken up by a call after 11pm from the front desk telling me I can pick up my toothbrush (I didn't ask for one). I was woken up two more times slightly after 6am for wake up calls that I never set up. Come on guys - this is the Four Seasons, not Motel 6 !!

I visit to the Four Seasons Palm Beach met our expectations, the hotel property was in great shape the lobby, the pool area and beach are immaculately maintained. The room was average at best, the views from the partial ocean views where nice. The staff was outstanding from the Front Desk, to the pool and beach staff, all of the staff was helpful and accommodating. If you are looking for a hotel with a private beach and are looking for good service than this property is for you..!!!!!
