This is my review of the current temporary,"Masterworks From The Lord Beaverbrook Art Museum in New Brunswick"exhibit.I enjoyed the quality paintings I saw at this exhibit immensely. There were 75 quality paintings that ranged from the Renaissance(Lucas Cranach the Elder,Bartholomeus Bruyn the Elder)to masterpieces by Salvador Dali("Saint James Grande")and Graham Sutherland("Winston Churchill").I saw fine British portraiture by Joshua Reynolds,George Romney, and Thomas Gainesborough.I saw fine Canadian paintings, including delightful paintings by Clarence Gagnon,Alexander Jackson,Lawren Harris, and David Milne. My 4 favorite paintings were;James Tissot's"Passing Time",Clarence Gagnon's"2 Beaches,Parame and Saint Malo",Lawren harris'"Morning",and Alfred Sisley's"Le Falaise de Penarth".This exhibit concludes at the end of March,2013.Admission is 5 Dollars and parking is free.
