“Amazing, lavish, posh, old-school resort with all the modern ammenities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

This resort is worth visiting, even if you are not staying there. It has a beautiful entrance, and the floors, furniture, walls, and especially the ceilings of the lobby and other common areas are beautiful - for a hotel, the ceilings are opulent. The service is top notch and the meeting facilities and restaurants very good. If you are staying in Palm Beach or driving through, it is very well worth it to drop in to get a taste of what "golden age" resorts used to look like and a great resort now looks like.

“The Seafood Bar”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2012

Great oceanside vista from the seafood bar. Food good, but bar very busy and felt it was all a bit rushed. Worth visiting the hotel for the amazing heritage architecture and sheer scale of the establishment.

“The Seafood Bar -- Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

If you don't have a million dollars in your pocket (or have a million dollars and want to keep it), but still want to experience the atmosphere and old-world charm of the Breakers, try having appetizers (they're costly, but huge and, on balance, a great value) at the Seafood Bar.

The bar itself is an aquarium, and you look out over the lovely grounds. It's a fantastic place to people watch. I recommend the shrimp (JUMBO JUMBO JUMBO) cocktail.

As with everything at the Breakers, the service is top notch and you won't be disappointed! You pay for parking, but they are happy to validate with any purchase of more than $20 (which won't be hard).

Enjoy!

“Heaven On Earth”

I am a corporate meeting planner and I picked this hotel for a Senior Management Retreat. My conference planner -- Amy -- was great and this trip was as near perfect as it could get!
