We walked into the restaurant with 5:15 reservations. A man, appearing to be the store manager, greeted and seated us but gave us disgusted looks the whole evening. It seems we were out of place being the only couple in our 20's when all the other customers were around their 50's and 60's..


The meal and the servers were great. We felt uncomfortable because we got unusual glares the whole time we were eating.

We had purchased a $25 certificate on restaurant.com (a great website if you like dining). When we presented the certificate, it was presented to the manager by our waitress. The manager refused the certificate saying:
1) It is not an original (he made this assumption because it was printed on a black an white printer)
2) He stated that in order to qualify, we must order 2 seperate orders costing $35 EACH, in order to qualify. The certificate says "Minimum purchase of $35/2 entrees. Dinner only. Not Valid for Sat & Sun. Excludes alcohol."

I paid for the meal in full and left the restaurant, not wanting to make a scene.

Frustrated, I called back on my way home to explain to him that the certificate is not fake and it was printed on a black and white printer at work. He insisted that I was lying. I asked him to call the 1-800 number on the certificate to verify the validity of the certificate, but he refused to do that.


CONCLUSION: "If you are under 50, get ready to get an unpleasant and awkward experience."
