“Beautiful.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

I love this sort of thing anyway but the history and house are very interesting! Beautiful views too! A bit pricey at almost $19/person but a good way to spend an afternoon.

“I was wowed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

I was really surprised at the quality, taste, and layout of the museum- up there with some of the best in Europe! And I highly recommend the afternoon tea in the pavilion which was delicious in a fantastic cadre overlooking the water.

“Fantastic experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

It was hard to believe that after spending 7 years wintering in Florida, that I had never visited the Flagler Museum. Our guests arrived expecting to have a sunny, warm Florida experience for Presidents Weekend, but no such luck. After deciding how we should keep them busy,we settled on the Flagler. What a fantastic museum. It will go down as one of my all time favorites. Our docent,Catherine Berger was so knowledgable, she absolutely kept us entralled for an hour and half. I recommend this as a MUST if you have never been...I will definitely return.

“History and elegance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

The tour of the museum gives great insight into Flagler and his world. Afternoon tea in the new addition on the Intracoastal rounds out a beautiful experience.

“A pleasant 1/2 day trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Flagler Museum overlooks the Intercoastal Waterway and is a charm of a building. The tour ticket includes docent run 1 hour tours of the first floor as well as a handheld tape to tell about each room on the 2 floors. There is also the train that Henry Flagler used on his trips to Key West. The visit was informational and interesting. Certainly if you can't get to Newport, this is the next best mansion to visit. After you visit the house drive a few blocks to the beach and walk along the sidewalk. Beautiful view. Or bring your bikes to bike the bike trail that runs right by the parking lot or walk on it along the Intercoastal Waterway. Enjoy the day.
