Located right on the higway so a car is needed, but only 20 mins drive to daytona beach. also ormond beach is very nice and quiet. rooms were basic but clean, typical motel 6. Staff were friendly. pool provided but was not maintained, would not go in there! Every thing else was great, gas station 2mins walk away for food and drink. would stay again.

We booked the room for a 1 night stay on our way to St. Augustine. We arrived at 1:30am, the lobby was locked, but there was a walk up window in which the guy was nice. The room had a musty smell. The bathtub had huge chips taken out of it exposing the rust underneath. The bathroom doorjam was completely rotted away. The carpet left my daughter's socks black. It definitely needs remodeled and upgraded. I know that we won't be staying there again.

This doesn't look like a typical Motel 6, but is actually an acquired Quality Inn. I'm pretty sure of that since the wireless Internet access says "Quality". So don't think beachside (7.2 miles away), but it's located at one of over 100 I-95/US-1 Interchanges from Maine to Florida.

My room was clean, and there were no noise issues. I'm sure that Bike Week, Spring Break and Daytona Nascar events might change this (i.e., noisy, rowdy neighbors). My only complaints were a small, limited channel TV and spotty/slow Internet. This was offset by a nice pool, clean room and VERY friendly and helpful service from the front desk receptionist. Like other Motel 6's they are pet friendly, and my dog Jake had no complaints!

we booked into the motel 6 in ormond beach, for a 3 night stay. We were greeted in lobby by a warning that people had been mugged, in this area, due to some sort of gambling scheme. Needless to say, I didn't sleep a wink & after 2 days - we found great ocean view accomadations at the Ocean Mist & directly on the ocean. Reasonable, clean & safe.
