“GREAT PLACE TO EAT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

We tried this place from over hearing someone talking about it. We are SO glad we tried it. It is a small local place, but the food was WONDERFUL. We HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

“Shrimp, Scallops, Haddock, & Onion Rings to Die For!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

I have eaten at Betty's since she opened and have never been disappointed. I love the New England style batter on the fried shrimp, scallops, and haddock as well as the homemade sides. The onion rings are as good as any I have ever tasted and the desserts are the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Dine while looking out over the Atlantic in beautiful Ormond by the Sea!

“Outstanding casual restaurant at the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

If you are living or vacationing in the Ormond Beach, FL area, you need to eat at Betty's. We stayed in Ormond for a week and ate at Betty's twice. Some of the food is truly outstanding, while as with most restaurants, some of it is average. Taste is a subjective thing. However, everyone in our group agreed that we didn't have anything we didn't like or love. Some notables were most any of the seafood we had, the onion rings, the clam chowder, and most any dessert. Everything is homemade and the level of care Betty puts into the cooking of the food is readily evident. The service was outstanding as well.

“Where the locals go for seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

We spend the month of July in Ponce Inlet,45 minutes south of here.A friend recommended this restaurant and we were glad we tried it .We will definitely be back next summer.Betty's seemed to attract the locals who appreciate fresh delicious seafood.I had fried shrimp and cod and savored every bite. The waitress was friendly and made some good menu suggestions. The homemade chocolate cream pie was like my mother used to make.I almost forgot to mention the New England
Clam Chowder is just right. Can't wait to come back.
