“Good Sports Bar For Pub Grub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

A good English/Irish style pub. Food is good, has a variety of platter type meals or sandwiches. The decorations can keep you busy while waiting for your meal. The place is large enough to sit in a quiet corner if you prefer. Service is a bit slow, but food is hot when it comes, and we were there "off season" so staff may be reduced. I'm a fan of Shepherd's Pie and wasn't disappointed here.

“One of the worst decisions of my life”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

While visiting Daytona, I was intrigued by the Black Sheep pub and restaurant. My wife had the Rib-Eye and found about 3-4 bites of actual edible meat. The rest was fat/gristle and some other unidentifiable substance. I had what they referred to as their "Award Winning Fish and Chips". I am not sure who gave them the award, but..the fish was under-cooked and the outer coating was burnt and dripping an insane amount of grease. The Fries were tasteless and overcooked as well. On the plus side, I had the Black Sheep Lager Draft and that was decent. Service was good and when she noticed the terrible quality of the steak as she removed our plates, she cameback and offered us a free dessert, but we had had all we could stand of the Black Sheep.

“A good find in a tourist community”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

It's always difficult to find a quality restaurant at a reasonable price when you are travelling. (That's why we read these reviews!) I had eaten here before, but was not a reviewer at the time. The décor is heavy on the dark wood, old world, local pub motif, but well done. We were seated a comfortable distance from the talented man playing the keyboard and singing everything from Willie Nelson to Michael Jackson...a great listen. Menu items are very, very ample, so consider sharing. The drink prices were a bit high (the lemon drop martini $8 was small and not as lemony as I like it), but so it goes. One half of the fish sandwich and 1/2 the wings went home in a box for the next day....but both were yummy. Excellent lunch special too, (around $6).

“Great Lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

We went at 11:30 am for lunch. The food was delicious. The lunch special was $5.99 with drink. Best value around. Although our waitress could have been more attentive, speed of service was good. The table was a bit sticky and our server wiped it down right away.

“Very nice experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013 via mobile

Went at dinner time expecting to wait...didn't have to. Party of 7 got right in. Our server was great. I can't remember his name though :( he was knowledgable of the specials, draft beers and the menu. Checked on us frequently and our drinks never were empty. Food was very good. No complaints from any of us.
We will definitely visit again on our next trip.
