What a great addition to our culinary choices. This new restaurant is located where La Crepe was for many years. Sadly, La Crepe had gone slowly down hill and Ormond Beach was the less for it's demise. Toscana although a different cuisine more than fills the bill. A wonderful job was done on the decor and it has a warm and elegant feel to it. Our regular dining companions joined us and we were each delighted. Mario, our server, was knowledgeable, attentive and great fun. The ladies had the Chicken Piccata and loved it , I had the Scottish salmon filet sautéed with black olives, capers, onions, vine ripened plum tomatoes with a splash of white wine on the advise of Mario and was very pleased. Overall , just a great veining made better by two bottles of Pinot Noir and great company in wonderful surroundings. Light background music and good acoustics (I hate noisy restaurants ).We will certainly become regular diners at Toscana and based on our first impressions can certainly recommend you try it. It joins the tradition of fine dining in Ormond Beach and believe it compares well with Rose Villa. Oh, they have several dining rooms, a bar and seating outside on the balcony and regular wine tasting events.
