Stayed here with my sister because it was economical and had all the basics. She's been familiar with this motel for a long time. However, the current management is letting this place deteriorate rapidly. There were holes in the sheets on our beds, the refrigerator door was covered in rust. The furniture under the cabana worn out. Lights are out all over the property. One wing of the motel isn't even being used. Our second night we were the ONLY guests in the place! I do not plan to EVER stay there again. This is my opinion ONLY, but my guess is...the current owner is using the place as a cash cow, in the hopes of selling out for big bucks to a condo developer. This place COULD be decent with just a little effort...but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

We came across this wonderful old time Florida motel while visiting family in Palm Coast.
Caroline, the owner, was great. My wife got a kick out of the reciepts on her motel business card.
The rooms were fine, no carpet, but it's Florida! and there's no tar or stuff on the parking lot, just gravel and sand.
The ocean was less than a minute walk east from our room. you had the beach to yourself. there are two picnic canopy wood structures to overlook the sea, with a firepit or something. My photo says it a thousand times better.
We felt real romantic here, i dont know why, but the vibe here is real and relaxed. leave your troubles on highway 1 or one A.
this is not for Thurston Howell and Lovey, but Gilligan Maryann and the Skipper.
