Obviously not a luxury hotel. But The Hampton Inn division of Hilton is very good for what it is, Having stayed in quite a few locations close to International Drive including some which are nominally more grand, I will continue to stay here because of the value for money.

This hotel is worth 4 stars,(maybe 5 except for one thing). Free Wi-Fi, good size rooms, beds and the cable TV selection and the rates are usually pretty good (though if there is a big tradeshow / event at the convention center they might creep up).

The staff are always good for this class of hotel and it is often hard to justify what may seem like a more grand member of the Hilton Group grander when suddenly the ancillary charges get loaded on at those establishments (again Wi-Fi, or parking or those mysterious resort fees) .

The location is really handy when coming from the airport and it is close to International Drive restaurants (though may be a little too far to walk). At the time of writing the hotel is undergoing some renovations in the public areas but I am told these will be finished within a week or two.

This was a nice hotel for one night. The room was clean and the staff friendly. It is an older hotel and the lobby is being renovated. The sixth floor room and hall decor is very dated and need a facelift too.

We are frequent visitors of this hotel and from the Hampton Inns in the Orlando area is tis the best one. It is locatie central from all major attractions in Orlando. Seaworld is a 10 minute drive the same as the drive to Universal. Disney is a 15/20 minute drive depending on which park you want to visit.
At 6:00 pm you can enjoy fresh backed chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. The breakfast is according to the Hampton standaards. The staff at the front desk is friendly. We like the rooms and especially the beds. The hotel is used for business stays or families, still it is a quite hotel for a good price (value for money).

Room tip: Try to book one of the top floors on the site of Pointe. You get a beter view and see the helicopter flight landing.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 week and I have to say we were really pleased. The location for us was the main thing and it ticked all the boxes. It was in walking distance to many restaurants and bars and set far enough back to ensure a quiet stay.
The free breakfast was fine and saved us a lot of money.
The rooms were large and we had a fridge which was really useful. The one thing i would say is the pool area needs some TLC. There were not many sunbeds, and the ones that were there were broken and ripped. There was also no umbrellas, which was definitely needed.

Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if i was in Orlando. It is not 5 star luxury, but if you want value for money then it's for you.

Room tip: One tip, ask for a room away from the lift/ice machine if you want a peaceful nights sleep.

First time staying here and I honestly did not expect such a good experience. When we walked in a group of highschoolers was just checking in, but instead of letting us wait with the luggage the manager assisted us immediately, first gold star. Though the fixtures might show aged, but overall the room is very clean and spacious with ample TV channels to select, second gold star. The location is perfect, driving to most parks is only 20 min max, and many restaurants (and even a movie theatre and a 24 hours Walgreen) are within walking distance, third gold star. The facilities are adequate - They have ample parking spaces, many lifts to minimise wait time, free internet with more than reasonable transfer rate, a computer with a workable laser printer and, very important, with papers in it, and most importantly a clean and tidy laundry room. I know they have a pool and I passed by a gym, but I never been there so no comment. Fourth gold star. The fifth gold star goes to the breakfast. I frankly do not ever fancy breakfast at the hotels, thinking that they are lame with only a few cold muffins and stale coffee. But at the 4th day when we are out of choices for breakfast and was in hurry we went to try the breakfast there and I must say it was beyond my expectation. They had hot waffles and lots of bakery, and even though I must say they could not compare to breakfast at IHOP it is free, and the staff always wear a smile and greet us. What moved me most is the manager would come to the breakfast area every day, go round robin at every table to ask whether the breakfast or the stay is good. We really appreciate that! So actually the first and the fifth gold stars goes to the staffs here. All staffs that we met are very helpful. Besides the manager, we had a couple of interactions with another younger gentleman at the front desk and he was also very helpful and pleasant. When we check out the manager kindly ask us to rate the hotel here, and I make it a "must do" when I am back. The only minor point that stopped me ranking this hotel to 5 stars is the loo. It emit a stench starting from the midst of the night. Once the room was cleaned the stench would go away. Guess it must have been from the sewage. Fix that, would give 5 stars. In any case, would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend this to all of my friends if they go to Orlando. Thank you for giving us such a joyful experience staying here!
