“Better Than Expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

Just stayed here four nights and was worried about it given the reasonable rates. Was not disappointed. Although the room is decorated in drab brown, it delivers on being fairly new and in good shape. My only complaint with the room was the rock hard pillows.
The location is great with a real short drive to either Disney, SeaWorld, or Universal.
Nice pool area although the water was the coldest of the three resorts we just visited on our trip. It is busy so finding the perfect chair location is a challenge. Nice pool side bar but there is no walk around service which would up their revenue greatly. Long lines at the bar prevented us from going up a few times. Like most places these days, it was understaffed.
Loved the Cafe 24. Nice fast options at a price point that isn't over the top.
Pool area arcade was out of order and the lobby area arcade was just so so for the kids, but provided a few minutes of fun. They should add a couple of ping pong tables in the back chair area by the pool for the kids for more to do....although chair real estate is precious here.

We did "name your own price" on Priceline and got Caribe. This was a short stay for my husband and I. We enjoyed our 2 nights and loved the pool. The room was clean and everyone was very nice. The desk clerk informed us we were there during the Cheerleader competition was going on. We asked to be put as far away as they could put us. We didn't really ever see or hear them. We reserved a cabana by the pool for one day. It was $25 and you choose which cabana you want. You get a cooler with 6 waters, 2 towels that seemed to be a little thicker than the reg. pool towels, and very comfortable, cushioned loungers. You also get a 15% off Spa coupon, which we didn't use. Seemed a little pricey. The cabanas are not right next to the pool but they are close enough. We ordered a pizza from one of the restaurants for lunch by the pool and it was very good. It was only $15. We would stay here again.

The hotel was very clean, the people were very friendly and accommodating. Would have liked the pool to be open later the kids got back from the Ariana Grande concert and the pool was closed they were a little disappointed in that. We stayed in building 5 would rather have been in the main building which we will request next time. The hotel is centrally located to all the attractions we were very happy with out choice. My daughter had a performance with her school the next morning in Universal and it was very easy to get there from the hotel. Lots of shopping areas near the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main building that is where the restaurants, game room and main pool area are.

I'm so glad I booked this resort with my bestie, the pool area is one of the most relaxing I've experienced in a few years, staff is very friendly and other guests were friendly, I recommend this resort if you're interested in Disney or family reunions.

Positives: Jon the valet, Rolando the bellhop and Theresa the chambermaid were AMAZING! Conference facilities were nice. Close proximity to Disney World. Quiet room despite being a light sleeper. Comfortable bed. Main building and outlying pool areas are pretty.
Negatives: This trip was cursed from the start, two flights canceled day of left me scrambling to get there. This was during spring break. I requested a handicapped accessible room, didn't get it. Traveled 24 hours, called prior and explained late arrival, requested to be charged for room to be held; arrived at 7 AM to "sorry your room was cancelled, you'll have to wait until 4 PM." Was exhausted and sick (MS) they managed to get me a room just before noon. Tower I room was dark, dated and depressing! Two phones in room, neither one worked, fan in bathroom didn't function, bedside table had loose connection, iron sputtered out ??? which ruined my blouse by discoloring it, toilet tank water ran constantly and was promptly fixed but then made louder surge noises, couldn't charge iPhone or iPad in room fully because it was ridiculously slow, getting in and out of room with medical scooter was very difficult, needed ADA room. Concierge staff in Tower I were not friendly, didn't seem to want to be bothered.
Summary: Resort Manager Bobby was very apologetic when I checked out for being charged a "no show" free and overall inconvenience. He adjusted my bill for inconvenience. Promised to correct issues. I'll rate the service as average despite the multiple snafus because of some outstanding staff already mentioned.

Room Tip: Not all towers are created equal! My coworker was placed in a villa and it was breathtakingly beauti...

Green Features: Disappointed in the lack of ease for recycling, bins were few and far between.

I'm here now March 29th. It's a nice place. The one bedroom suite is great. You have a little bing area with pull out sofa. Two double beds, two tv's, medium size fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pool area is great. There is no need to leave the resort with plenty to do and eat. Tower three is close to pool and spa.

The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were large. Separate seating area. 2 large TV. Free parking. The best part was the pool with a slide and 2 hot tubs. Pool was heated so we could swim after long day in Disney. The hot tob was amazing. About 10-15 min from Disney.
Will definitely recommend.
