3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

We stayed in the summer of 2011. Front desk was very helpful & friendly but it did take a while to check in. We also purchased tickets to DW & Epcot from them.

We stayed in their 2 bedroom. Full Kitchen, living room, Dining room and our room had a jetted tub. They really need to purchase new mattresses for their beds. They were like sleeping on cardboard boxes. I have a bad back and I wasn't a happy camper. The walls are very thin. Not good if you have noisy neighbors & can hear the planes going over. Pools are very nice.

The resort is in a good location. We ate dinner @ Red Lobster & Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney.

Beautiful resort not too far away from Disney & Universal ( 15 min drive), neat & clean rooms with fully eqipped kitchen, large refrigerator, washing machine, microwave.. didn't I say home away from home.. even had menus of nearby restaurants to order.Very well maintained waterbodies , pools & gym. Best thing was the staff... always there to help you with a smile. Stayed there for 1 full week loved the place. Walmart is about a mile away.. we stacked up food & drinks & had a great time.

Room Tip: overlooking the waterbodies, we stayed one floor up, probably ground level looked better

We rented the 3 bedroom. I really considered it a two bedroom because the 3rd bedroom was a pull out couch, with a tv, mini fridge, sink and microwave. It had a closing door. This so called third bedroom was small and I wouldn't want to sleep in there but it would be just fine for kids or teens. We had 2 bathrooms and we really liked the master bathroom. It had a large tub with no shower curtain and you had to stepped up into the tub but we had no trouble getting in or out. It was also easy to bath our toddler in with one of us in the tub with him. The adjustable shower head in the master bath was really nasty with mold or mildrew on it. I lucky had clorox wipes with me that I cleaned the shower head with. The other bathroom shower was horrbile to try to get in and out of. It had doors on it but was very deep and hard to get in and out of. We only used that shower once.

The unit had a lot of space, with a good size kitchen. It also had a washer/dryer which we loved having. The unit was pretty clean overall except for the shower head and the floors looked clean when we checked in but after only a few minutes of my son running around bare foot on the tile floor in the kitchen and living room area his feet were very dirty on the bottom.

The pool area is small but we only used it once and it was just fine. They charge a resort fee that is a little less than $4.00 a day for parking but it includes supplies for the room like dish soap, detergent, paper towels, trash bags, coffee etc. We just had to go to the front office or call and they would bring them to the room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Our unit was one of those that can they rent as 2 seperate units. I would not recommend renting jus...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was very nice since we were travelling with a 3 yr old. There are several pools around the complex and it was nice to go to the one near our room because it was less busy. My daughter loved the little splash pad. The front desk helped us get a rental car and the shuttle driver was very accomodating. The room was very clean. I wish they would have come and in and cleaned at least once while we stayed there. I don't understand why they don't clean the rooms at all throughout the stay. There is a lot to do on the property if you get tierd of the parks. Lots of restaurants are really close. I highly recommend getting a rental car when staying here. cabs add up.

We stayed at the Legacy May 3 to May 7th. We had a one bedroom suite with a pull out bed. The whirlpool bath was nice. We loved the full kitchen. There was two TV's one in the bedroom and one in the living room, this made our daughter happy, because she could watch what she wanted most of the time. Everything was nice and we will go back, but will ask for a downstairs room the next time.

Room Tip: The stairs to the top floor are not many but with people who have arthritis or leg problems it would...

Booked a mini suit for $63 through hotels.com. Be aware, if you check out early, hotels.com issues the refund. Not the resort. That was our case. The refund was easily handled though. Room was very spacious. Came with whirlpool, digital thermostat, mini fridge, microwave, silverwear, cups, plates, kitchen sink and dish soap. Their pool is heated. The wifi is free. Request a non adjoining room if you can. We had a door leading into another room. Which, would have been fine if the people didn't have preteens screaming and doing who knows what until two in the morning for each night we were there.

We were so pleased with our choice to stay at this resort.

We stayed in a ‘B’ room, which has a king sized bed and all the amenities you could possibly want.

The whole apartment is just so spacious.

On arrival you will need to supply a $100 deposit which is only a hold and at the end of your stay you will need to pay a $3.99 a night taxes and fees charge.

Wi-Fi worked perfectly in the room and there was no charge to use the computers near reception, which also had a free-to-use printer which was useful for printing our boarding cards.

We could also make local and national calls completely free of charge from the room which was extremely useful.

We used public transport to get everywhere. The link number 50 bus stops right outside the resort every 30 minutes, although if I was to do this trip again, I would rent a car as their public transport system is not the best. Nevertheless we managed it for 2 weeks.

We never really had the time to use the outdoor swimming pool, but it looked reasonable. The outdoor whirlpool never seemed to be working though. We even let the receptionist know early on in the holiday but it never got resolved. This was not really an issue for us though as there is one in the room anyway.

The maid service is not free of charge unless you are staying more than 4 nights. Towels are not changed every day; you have to specifically ask them to be changed, as is the same situation for bins. You can either put the rubbish outside in bags which will be collected during the day or you can ask someone to collect it for you. The maid tidied up our apartment after 7 days, so basically in a 2 week stay we had one tidy up. This was sufficient for us as we are a couple, although I can see how this might feel inadequate to a larger family.

The location is really good especially if you are visiting the Disney Parks and Downtown Disney. It is fairly close to all of them and not far from SeaWorld either. The Universal parks are slightly further away, but within a reasonable distance.

There is small retail park on the opposite side of the road which has a convenience store (where we purchased all our food and drink from) and quite a few places to eat such as Hooters, Dominos Pizza, Cici’s Pizza, Kobe’s Japanese Steakhouse, a Chinese takeaway, an Indian restaurant and an Irish pub.

We loved being able to wash and dry our clothes after hot sticky days in the parks.

We loved the choice of being able to jump in the bathroom’s whirlpool tub. (Although I can’t see how someone who is disabled would access the tub/shower).

We loved having a spacious kitchen with the option to make our own meals. Even the fridge is massive.

We never heard any of the so-called noise you can apparently hear through the so-called thin walls.

All in all we really loved this place.
