The room was not clean, and it smelled of cat urine. The continental breakfast was very poor. They had cereal but no milk to pour on it. They also had bagels but no cream cheese.

In addition, we were promised a shuttle back to the airport the following Monday at a rate of $3. On Monday, they claimed there was no such arrangement. On being shown the calander where the reservation was made, they said there were no shuttle drivers available. They then cheerfully refunded the $3, and called a cab for us instead, which cost us $25 off the meter.

The hotel is affiliated with the Radisson chain, but we will be contacting them and suggesting they no longer recommend the Park Inn.

We thought that renovated meant clean carpet and new mattress and possibly repainting. This was not like that. In fact, the room had an odor covered up with carpet freshener. After trying 3 rooms, we decided to leave but the matter of a 24 hr cancellation policy was a hangup. It was bad enough that we forfetted the $50 and went to a better room for less. Lesson: avoid cancellation policies....look before you book at least with this chain.
