I have stayed at this hotel over the years, and it serves it's basic purpose, an overnight near the airport for a business trip or to start/end an Orlando vacation. This trip was a vacation, and arrived to Orlando airport about 9 PM and called for the shuttle, a wait of about 15 minutes, not bad. Many restaurants nearby, went to the Miller's Ale House for some great late night food, but this restaurant is walking distance to perhaps 12 restaurants, such as Tony Roma's, Chili's, TGI Fridays, and a Hooters. Basic Fairfield Inn, a little noisy (airplanes overhead) but restful nonetheless. Morning breakfast, crowded, kids everywhere, and some families raiding the breakfast buffet for lunch, hording tables full of everthing available, made it difficult for the breakfast room staff to keep up, but they tried... Then a very quick ride on the shuttle in the morning to pick up a rental car and did not have to pay for an extra day!

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the pool, seems some people do not respect the hours, and late night was a bit...

Stayed three nights in June 2011. Clean room, comfortable bed. Nice continental breakfast. Could use ceiling fans in room. Good value for the price.

Although we were only there for 8 short hours, it was a welcome respite. We flew into Orlando, three hours late, on a Tuesday night. We arrived at 2 a.m. frustrated and exhausted. The front desk attendant went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The room was clean and the beds were wonderful. If you ever need a quick, inexpensive place to stay while near the Orlando airport, I highly recommend Fairfield.

Room Tip: We were late and they held our reservation.

Very nice room, good service - at a comfortable distance from the airport.
We will most likely be back.

We stayed for one night on the front end of a cruise in late April.

The Good:

Shuttle to and from the airport was prompt and the driver courteous.
Check-in was good.
Breakfast was okay.
Nice to have a fridge / microwave.
Little store was down the street to get soda / supplies for the cruise.
Price was right.

The Not So Good:

The rooms are a little dated.
Sheets are scratchy, and could smell the bleach.
Couldn't get the internet kiosk to print some cruise docs.
Air conditioner fan didn't have a constant on.

The Bad:

My spouse left a $500 bite splint on the sink, we called less than an hour after we checked out and yet it was not found. There was a language barrier, we suspect, but there's no way the room was cleaned that fast and we checked back after the cruise and it seemed like the note never made it to housekeeping.

Overall - would have been okay for a one night stay since it was inexpensive, but the lack of service ended up making a stay at the Hilton a better deal if we had done that...

Efficient check in, and requested a poolside room. They gave us one of the rooms nearest the pool. This room was also in a great location for breakfast/reception etc.

The only letdown was the quality of the breakfast, an improvement in the quality and freshness of the breakfast pastries is needed.

Otherwise, a good choice for a 1 night stay at the airport, before or after a flight.

Room Tip: as for poolside, to be near pool, breakfast
