“Nice location and Rates”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Located next to Wet and Wild. Booked through Orbitz got a good rate. Nice pool and 2 adult only jacuzzi's. Staff was helpful. Rooms were small. Free Wi-FI in rooms. Free shuttle to all major attractions.

We got a great deal on hotwire for this hotel at only $43 per night. I would not have wanted to pay the $80 plus that I have seen since.

The hotel was clean, it was going through some builiding upgrades and one of the hot tubs was closed however it was not a busy time and we were able to access the tubs without the work being of an inconvenience to us.

Shuttle was excellent especially as it was free, however I did notice that the hotel advertises that there is a shuttle to disney for a small fee? When enquiring about this we were given a taxi number to call. We did some research and managed to find a fairly easy and very inexpensive route to Disney for two dollars on the Lynx bus. You can catch the bus across from the entrance to wet and wild and ask for a transfer ticket. You then change at sea world and the bus takes you straight to disney. Its the number 8 to sea world then the number 50 to disney and it cost $2. I would recommend this as it was very simple. The Iride will also take you to sea world.

I would not recommend breakfast, at 9.99 each you can walk around the corner to Ponderosa which is cheaper and has much much more to offer. However the small deli made a delicious pizza that we had in our room one night and tasted awesome!!

I would stay in this hotel again without a doubt if I got the same price. Staff were all very friendly.

My husband and I stayed at the BW in March 2013 for 7 nights. We weren't expecting too much before we arrived and we were about right. The hotel was ok, clean, has a small shop to stock up on provisions, a small-ish pool which was freezing and tennis courts, It was really just a place to lay our heads each night which was all we wanted. The location is also good for visiting Universal and Wet n Wild.

My biggest gripe though were the beds, So uncomfortable, they were like water beds, Any movement and the whole bed moved from side to side (and we are quite slender people so it didn't take much).

Apart from this, if you get a good deal I would say go for it but I won't be rushing to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is a reasonably comfortable place to stay in. However, the hotel charges for receiving packages, which we were not informed about in any of the days that we were there. When we checked out, we specifically asked if there were any additional charges, and we were told that there were none. However ten days after our vacation, we found a large charge to our credit card, which we later found out to be a charge by the hotel for receiving packages. A disappointing end to our vacation.

Nice ordinary hotel. nothing special and I'm not sure why this is a BW Plus. Rooms are ordinary, lobby is ordinary, nothing over the top. They were efficient at the front desk. Charged a small but surprising amenities fee of a few dollars. Room was relatively compact but workable. The place was relatively busy.

I would stay here again though it is not luxurious by any means.

Rooms are a little out dated with a musty smell and a little wood rotting in the bathroom. Great location for the major parks. There is also a free shuttle to Universal and Sealand Front staff is super friendly. All in all not bad for the money.

Booked this hotel thru Hotwire and got a great price. After booking the hotel I came on Trip Advisor and read the reviews and was a bit nervous that the hotel wouldn't be up to par.
The hotel was much better than anticipated and everything was fine. Check in was a breeze and the room was clean and everyone I dealt with at the hotel was more than pleasant. If you don't mind walking, Universal is about a 20-30 walk away. I would definitely stay here again.
