With my family and work, I tend to travel a fair amount and my experience at the Regal Sun was great. All members of the staff were so fantastic. More often than I can recall I always had someone from the hotel staff walking by saying hello and asking if everything was ok. Two huge thumbs up to Jay Leonard, the General Manager of the hotel, for creating such a warm environment. Also, the views of the fireworks from my room on the first night were amazing!

We used Hotwire to book this trip and were well pleased. Although the rooms were more dated than the lobby and outside areas, they were clean. The location was great! The bus service was worth the $ per night resort fee. Great bus drivers. The pool area was great too! We will be back!

From the beginning, this was the worst experience I have ever had. I booked in May and they messed up my entire reservations. When I called one week before, they had my reservations all wrong. Then, on date of arrival, they didn't have parking available and advised us to park on "the curb" even though signs everywhere strictly prohibit it. The room was dirty! The shower curtain had mold on it and the bathroom was nasty!

Then they double billed us for the character breakfast................which only had Pluto and Goofy!

I was just awful! I will never stay here again! They totally ruined my son's second breakfast!

After reading some of the bad reviews I was really worried about staying here to the point of canceling my reservation. We decided to give it a try since the price was $82.49 (resort fee included) per night. We were very glad we did. We arrived around 11a.m. and were checked in fairly quick, and our room was ready even though check in was not till 3 p.m. The lobby was very nice. We stayed on the 1st floor. When we arrived in our room we were surprised how nice and clean the room was after reading the bad reviews. The staff was excellent and very prompt. Our t.v. was not working when we arrived, we called the front desk and they arrived literally within like 2 minutes and had it repaired in no time. We needed extra towels called housekeeping very prompt too. The outside surroundings were well maintained. The pool area was huge and the pools kept very clean. My kids had a blast in the pools! They had a guy doing temporary tattoos in the pool area and my kids got a kick out of that. He was very cheap, it was like $5 for 2 kids and he told them they could keep coming back to get new ones at no extra charge for the remainder of our stay and they did.
