As a frequent visitor to Disney World, I stay at hotels on and off property.

This trip was my first stay at this Wyndham, and I'd like to tell you that in the past years, I have not found a better place to stay. The hotel staff, especially Angela Quinlan, Jasmin Casillas, Dewan, Sabina, the valet parking attendant, and each and every staff member I had the good chance to meet, made me feel great about my stay.

I have never stayed in a hotel where the staff were so honestly interested in doing everything and anything they could to be sure that your stay would be comfortable and welcoming.

Watching the staff work, I saw that I was not given more attention than any other guest,
every person staying there was treated great.

I'd like the thank the Wyndham for taking the time to select wonderful, well trained prople

Room Tip: Ask the desk for the type of room you would like, they are very helpful

I stayed during marathon weekend and could not get on WDW property, so I had to look outside the WDW compound. Turns out, this property IS associated with WDW, and as such, there are a lot of built in perks. First, you have transportation (complimentary) to all of the WDW parks and Downtown Disney (which is literally right across the street). Also, the pool and hot tub facilities are fantastic and open long hours. The internet is free as well. So is the onsite parking for your personal vehicle. So if you are saving on getting to and parking in WDW as well as internet and other fees that often cost extra, this place really becomes a fantastic bargain. When I booked, I got the room for $85/night. Dewan assisted in my check in and was fabulous. Beware the "complimentary gift" that awaits you off to the side at one of those desks. It is a sales pitch for a return trip discount if you put up with one of their "Wyndham Club" presentations. If you are willing to listen to them briefly and still say NO, you will walk away with a few BOGO coupons for area restaurants and shops and stuff at Downtown Disney. My room was quiet and clean. You can expect to pay $0.25/minute to use a computer and $0.75/page to print. Only AFTER I put $3 in the machine did I notice that they DO provide a computer for FREE where you can print your boarding passes. It cost $7.11 for a muffin (huge) and a coffee in the lobby bakery. It cost $7.00 to wash and dry one load of clothes in the onsite facilities. There is a lobby bar here too. Did not avail myself of that. The toiletries are from Bath & Body Works - True Blue Spa line and very nice. Wolfgang Puck coffee in the room. Programmable safe for laptops, jewelry, etc. Character breakfasts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in the lobby restaurant. Disney store in the lobby as well. Valet parking available. Clean linens. The whole place always smelled fresh and clean. Nice furnishings. In room fridge. Pleasant staff. Awesome fitness center. Great pools, yes TWO pools (with a bar right there) and a hot tub. Kids don't really annoy when traveling as there is enough room for everyone to spread out.

Room Tip: Use your Entertainment Book discount. You will get an even better price per night than a Disney Cast...

How excited to have reservations at the "Wyndham" for New Years. Upon arrival we were met by a very nice man who took care of our car and was very polite and helpful. Inside was equally impressive. However, after leaving the desk, we were sent on a goose chase to find our room. It seems that Wyndham bought an old Days Inn and took a chunk out of the middle built a tower, keeping the Days Inn, intact, on either side. Hopefully the tower rooms are better. Our room was at the end of a rat maze with very low ceilings. I'm 5'-10" and felt crunched. The elevators (on the wing) were the size of an average shower stall. When we found the cheese at the end of the maze, the Mrs. had to use the restroom, of course.......... And, of course, there was no toilet paper. The room was terribly dated and dirty. Rusty bathroom fixtures and a tub that looked like it was caulked by a two year old. A bath cabinet front did not even reach the ceiling, missing by 3 inches. Noise from every passing guest and housekeeping was very loud as there is no carpet on the walk outside the doors.Very strange, as I've stayed at other Wyndhams and been overly impressed, hence our choice this time. Really disappointed this time. The pool looked fun and clean. If you must stay, ask for the tower, maybe it's a Wyndham, otherwise find a nearby motel 6. You won't get a nice valet, but you'll pay a third, or less, for the same room.

This was our first time staying at the Wyndham, and we had a wonderful time. The room was great, always clean, and we even enjoyed special touches by the cleaning staff (ie. arranged some of the kids' new Disney characters on the bed and night table). We were able to have the Kids' Room with bunk beds, which was adjoined to our own room with a King bed. The kids were thrilled to have their own special room, and we enjoyed having a little quiet time in the evenings. The staff were all very friendly. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant each morning, especially the mornings of the character breakfast with Goofy and Pluto. The location was great, being able to walk over to Downtown Disney, and also to ride the shuttle to the parks.
