Fantastic location just across the road from Downtown Disney. Rooms spacious and comfortable but houskeeping was awful - we didn't get soap on the first day. Then no water for two days (and we were paying for that via the "resort fee".

Generally though this is a good hotel and above average for Orlando without costing a fortune.

We had a room on the 26th floor and had great views of all the Disney fireworks at new year.

We booked the Palace for 2 nights starting on Christmas day. We arrived late at night and when we tried to check in they no longer had the Disney Room view that we payed for. They tried to give us a single bed for 4 people. So my husband complained and they brought in a manager who apologized and gave us a suite instead. What a nice surprise the room had two baths, two queen size pillow top beds, a sofa bed in living room, two refrigerators, two safes , two flat screen tvs and bottled mineral water. There was two sets of sliding doors to patio. Of course the patio was this rooms only downfall. No View! Air conditioners and roof level with patio. But if you ignore the view you could see the room was wonderful. We certainly were treated like royalty while we were there. At 114 a night I wouldn't complain about a view. We enjoyed our stay and if they could be this nice to other people I would definitely reccomend staying here it is definitely a four star hotel. In the eyes of my seven yr old , he layed on his bed with his hands behind his head and said THIS IS THE LIFE.

After seeing a "deal" for the Buena Vista Palace, we booked through the hotel's website. What a breeze! The hotel was modern, spotless and well maintained with a great pool area and snack bar. Being just minutes away from Downtown Disney was a bonus! Additionally, there was shuttle service to the theme parks, allowing for ease of travel as well. We'll definietly stay at the Buena Vista Palace again when we return to Orlando!

My husband and I stayed four nights at the Buena Vista Palace while visiting WDW parks. Since we do not have children, we did not want to stay on the grounds and be surrounded by 24/7 Disney activities! We used the hotel website to book and found a special called "TZOO" which included an average rate of $119/nt and included breakfast each morning, which was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! (The hotel is located directly across the street from Downtown Disney. We caught the Disney bus each morning for a short ride to the theme parks.) Our room was beautifully decorated and definitely had a contemporary "spa" feel to it. My only complaint was that the room only had a shower, no tub. The shower was very nice, but it would have been great to sit in a tub after long days of walking! When I called the front desk, I was informed that most rooms with 1 King bed have only a shower. The rooms with 2 Queens have a tub and no shower....not sure since we did not see any other rooms while there! One word of caution...if you get a corner room, there are 4 rooms can be connected, which is great for groups; however, you can EASILY hear conversations and activities going on in the rooms next door. Overall, we felt that it was well worth the price we paid! We would definitely return!
