OVERALL:
We stayed two nights and loved it. The renovations have put this property on the map. It felt great to stay in a place that was so new!
SUSHI:
We had sushi one night. It was delicious: the rainbow roll, yellow tail nigri, shrimp tempura roll, taka’s spicy mayo crab roll!!!, two bowls of miso soup and two drinks came in at $72.00. It was so much fun eating the sushi and hanging out at the beautiful bar. The bartenders were great. They introduced me to the Nuclear Meltdown drink, the same components of a long island iced tea but add pineapple juice and midori!
TRADEWINDS RESTAURANT:
The breakfast buffet was amazing, but come hungry and don’t plan on eating lunch. It had four different kinds of cheeses. Omelet station and French toast station. I can’t even begin to tell you how much food it had. Applewood smoked bacon.
NOTE:
The electricity went out while we were there, but they ran on generator power for most of the time so we couldn’t even tell it was out.
ROOMS/ACCOMMODATIONS:
The beds were so comfortable I never wanted to wake up. The rooms were clean and stylishly appointed.
