OVERALL:
We stayed two nights and loved it. The renovations have put this property on the map. It felt great to stay in a place that was so new!

SUSHI:
We had sushi one night. It was delicious: the rainbow roll, yellow tail nigri, shrimp tempura roll, taka’s spicy mayo crab roll!!!, two bowls of miso soup and two drinks came in at $72.00. It was so much fun eating the sushi and hanging out at the beautiful bar. The bartenders were great. They introduced me to the Nuclear Meltdown drink, the same components of a long island iced tea but add pineapple juice and midori!

TRADEWINDS RESTAURANT:
The breakfast buffet was amazing, but come hungry and don’t plan on eating lunch. It had four different kinds of cheeses. Omelet station and French toast station. I can’t even begin to tell you how much food it had. Applewood smoked bacon.

NOTE:
The electricity went out while we were there, but they ran on generator power for most of the time so we couldn’t even tell it was out.

ROOMS/ACCOMMODATIONS:
The beds were so comfortable I never wanted to wake up. The rooms were clean and stylishly appointed.

I was expecting a four star hotel. When we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised by the the decadence of the salt water aquarium like if if you were in an under water cave surrounde by spacious high ceilings. After a day in the sun we were welcomed by the coolness and spaceous lobby and rooms. I was delighted by some specialty stores and its bistro which served delicious hearty food. I must commend all the staff they went out of there way to meet my requests. Believe me! I am picky. Looking foward to returning just for the spa treatments!
p.s. my children are well traveled and they were in awe! skip and jump to seaworld!!!!!!! large rooms and bathrooms and no thin walls. mr& mrs. Brownell, weston, fl

I stayed here to celebrate Valentine's Day with my new husband and we absolutely loved it. Upon check-in we were offered a free glass of champagne, which was delicious. We had a top floor room with a view of the atrium. It was a nice room with a view of the whale mural that was painted on the wall in accordance with the SeaWorld theme.

All the staff that we met were very polite and attentive. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed.

Breakfast the following morning was at the organic restaurant. We thought it was a little expensive but the breakfast buffet was delicious.

My only complaint was I thought it was a little noisy to try to sleep because the nightlife from the atrium kind of traveled north up to the rooms, but other than that I would stay here again.

I've stayed at the Renaissance the last three years for our company's annual trade show and every stay has been very enjoyable. The rooms are large, well decorated and quiet. The hotel is gigantic, but extremely clean and attractive. The pool area is expansive and relaxing. I stayed at the hotel during the renovation period in 2006, which I'm sure hurt its tripadvisor rating. But I'd highly recommend going there now that the renovation is complete. It is expensive, the breakfast buffet is $18 w/ beverages, and they charge $12/day for parking, but the location is ideal for visiting Seaworld and the other theme parks are only a 15 minute drive.

Had a chance to stay at this hotel last weekend. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful and courteous. Prior to my stay I was contacted by a Marriott platinum member coordinator who wanted to know if there was anything she could do to make my stay more enjoyable. These are the little things that go a long way with a frequent traveler like myself.
Room was large and very clean...nice big tv in room.
Grounds were beautiful...pool area was especially nice.
Had breakfast - meal was so - so...you are probably better to eat at a local restaraunt.
As far as location, hotel is close to all the parks and literally right across the street from Sea World.
Although this hotel has amore of a "conference hotel feel" to it, the staff will make you feel right at home.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
