This was our 2nd time at Cypress Harbour (this time our honeymoon) & on this occasion, had a main floor unit that backed the golf course. The resort was as well kept as it was the 1st time. Our unit did show some signs of deferred maintenance (kitchen cupboard door's laminate was peeling off in a few places) but overall was very clean & well stocked with the essential accoutrements (thankfully that included a wine cork screw). My wife & I enjoyed being away from the pool areas as we preferred not to have been disturbed my the exuberance of the children visiting Orlando/Disney. The staff at Cypress Harbour are always very friendly. The only real complaint we had was a relative had sent us a wedding gift that arrived at the resort on the day we checked in but they (the resort) never advised us that the package was there until we were checking out! It would have been nice to have been able to enjoy the champagne during our stay. Despite that, Cypress Harbour will still be our 1st choice when we return to Orlando for some R&R next time.

We arrived back at the Marriott's Cypress Harbour resort after a five day cruise. We got here at 10 AM - way before check-in time but thought we would try to check-in anyway.

Front desk staff was extremely friendly and were able to find us a 2 bedroom ground floor end unit that had, apparently, been recently updated. Sometime when we do timeshare switches (Interval) I get the sense that we are given older rooms in poor locations. This was certainly not the case today!

We love this location for everything it offers. Great location, fantastic rooms, HD TV, free internet, pools, tennis, golf, etc.

Highly recommend this facility and would come back here anytime!

Really enjoyed this after relocating from another Marriott nearby. (We moved from the Grande Vista because of annoying maintenance issues.) We had stayed at Cypress Harbour before and always liked it, so wondered why we ever considered a change! Our rooms were spotless. The customer service was great. In fact, ironically enough, the day after we moved here, a maintenance guy showed up (as notified in advance through the house phone) to perform a seasonal maintenance check on the unit. "Nicky" , "usually a painter", who "loves his job", was a very personable guy, who checked for burned out lightbulbs etc.--(a feature clearly lacking in the room we had previously at Marriott's Grande Vista). Our Cypress room was updated, clean, and well-appointed. All in all, we couldn't have been happier!

We used 2 of our Marriott timeshare weeks to trade for 2 condos for our family in December. The condos were side by side and very nice. The kitchen looked very new, flat screen TVs in all the bedrooms and living rooms, decent furniture, easy to use WiFi, everything very clean. Like other reviewers, I wish the second bedroom had 2 double beds in it vs a queen and a pull out sofa. But the room is not big enough for 2 doubles, unfortunately. So know that the people staying in the 2nd bedroom will have a fairly small room and only one real bed. The sofa was hard and lumpy, too. Too bad. All of the other Marriott resorts we have stayed at do not have this problem.

My husband and I were with our son, his wife and our 3 grandchildren ages 9, 7 and 5. Perfect ages for Disney! So we mostly did Disney. About a 15 min. drive to the parking lots at the World. We had 2 days of "rest" and enjoyed the pools, boats, activities and ambiance of the resort. Playgrounds, big outside chess board, mini golf, pool table, and much more available. The grandkids LOVED the pools! We don't get to swim outside in a pool much here in Michigan in December-haha. So that was a big treat for them.

Our rooms were very quiet. The screened-in patios are wonderful. You can leave the air off and the patio door open all night--no bugs! Our king sized bed was great, as usual for Marriott. There is a huge bathtub that "bubbles" (not really a Jacuzzi) that we used a couple of times and enjoyed. Several hot tub/whirlpools around the property that we used, too.

We ate out some and cooked in some. Our kids bought a stroller for $50 at Walmart for the 5 year old, which was a wonderful idea since we brought our lunches into the parks and could store them in the stroller and then after lunch the little one could ride and rest since we did a LOT of walking. You can rent strollers from the World, but it would have cost us more since we went to Disney 5 days. Just a suggestion. My smart daughter-in-law also packed water bottles that she had froze the night before in the condo's freezer and they kept lunch cool and then we had nice cold water to drink as they melted and then we could fill the bottles up at drinking fountains to get more icy water. Great idea!

Our experience at the Marriott Cyprus Harbour was very good. I didn't rate 5 stars due to the not so great 2nd bedroom. We did not end up using ours because the other couple (daughter-in-law's parents) ended up cancelling at the last minute due a family emergency. They would have been fine in the queen bed, but they are used to a king and I had hoped there would be 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom like usual for the other resorts.

There is a nice workout gym and spa which we used a couple of times. The golf course looked very nice but we didn't have time to golf.
