“Great Location, basic but perfect hotel”

4 of us stayed here in september 2006 for 7 nights.
The hotel is off the main roads and quiet, people very friendly. Cleaners were great and trustworthy, started to learn how we liked things in the room and always managed to please us.
Pool was good and oepned till 10 - 11pm so it was great for an evening dip.
Like all continental brekfasts they are preety terrible but when you can eat across the street for 3 dollars you dont need to eat at the hotel.
Air - Con can be a little bit noisy but you do get use to it after a while, would come back here again without a doubt!
As for Orlando, FAB! Visit Seaworld a must!

We stayed here the 1st week of October for 4 nights. There's a continental breakfast buffet (free) near the pool in a private area.
The rooms were average size with basic accomodations, but we only paid $39.95 (+$3 per day resort fee) with expedia. You just can't beat that deal unless you stay at a total dump. Lots of International travelers stay here (Mostly visitors from U.K.). My family and a retired couple seemed to be the only Americans staying at the motel/hotel. It was clean, just needs a new coat of paint and new updated bedding. The housekeeping staff was very, very nice and accomodating. There is a supermarket next door and a Western Buffet and Dairy Queen. Tons of gift shops, Walgreens and fast food joints within walking distance. Very close to Wet N' Wild and just 4 minutes (by car) to Universal. We stayed here 4 nights, then went onto a Disney Hotel for 2 nights. It's a great way to stay a week without paying a fortune. NOTE: We never saw an elevator, so if you cannot handle stairs you need to ask for a room on the first floor. Smokers should request a room need the walkway or first floor so they are close to the outside. I don't believe they allow smoking inside any rooms.

After reading all the reviews I was wondering what it was going to be like, I was quite surprised when I arrived, the place was nice and clean and the staff were very helpfull. It was in walking distance of Universal, and had a shuttle service to all the Disney Parks, the pool was great. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. The other great thing about it was that The George & Dragon an English pub was right accross the road selling good english beer.

Found the staff very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. The Inn was close to all amenities as in food and shopping. Shuttle provided to Disneyworld. Only there is no wireless internet. Other than that a very welcome stay.

The I Drive Inn exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to many people looking for a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was nice and clean. The pool was a welcome relaxation spot after long days out. Complimentary breakfast was served over a convenient time span that didn't require us to get up before the sun. Only 5 minutes away from Universal studios and about 20 minutes to Disney. Many stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Anyone looking for a prime yet affordable location for theme parks should definitely choose this hotel.
