Stayed for 2 weeks had been worried after reading some reviews but shouldn't have. A great little hotel fab location near Wet & Wild, shops and restaraunts. On arrival met by lovely friendly staff on reception. Problem with our rooms in that there was only 1 booked instead of 2 but this was soon sorted. Reception clean and welcoming free coffee and tea 24 hours a day, large TVs tuned to news channel. Rooms usual, 2 double beds large TV enough storage very clean. Coffee maker in room even though we were not pool facing and at end near to traffic noise was not a problem. For extra $10 per day could have a room with fridge and microwave but managed OK without. Room cleaned everyday by friendly staff who chatted and asked after us. Free breakfast everyday served between 6.30 and 9.30 cereal, toast, bagels, muffins danish Tea Coffee and juice just right to set you up for day. Pool open 10 - 10 nice pool would like it to have been opened earlier for early swim but this is our only critisism of a great hotel. Would deffinatly stay here again.

We have just return from a week stay at the Orlando Metropolitan Express, the location is lovely with lots of Restaurants near by.
On our second nite I realize that out sliding window was broken and unable to shut and there was cow web all around the window, I call front desk and was move the same time because they knew about the window and still put us in the room. Our second room bathroom was not so nice because the water was not draining and the tub keep fulling up when having a shower . The breakfast needs a variety of fruits and a hot cearel.

Normally stay at rodeway...due to problem at rodeway with unhelpful staff at 1am after travelling for approx 20 hours....we then walked into metropolitan express were we recieved a warm welcome from lynn on reception. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.... The rooms were great as were the pool, breakfast area and all over hotel facilities.... i shall be recommending the hotel to all of my friends and family and anyone who wishes to travel to orlando.. Just returned from a fifteen night stay at the metropolitan express. When we arrived we asked for a room away from the i-4, they were happy to oblige got a nice room overlooking the pool, then after reading reviews here decided to make sure everything worked before we unpacked, the safe didn't work reception sent maintenence up straight away they couldn't fix it so moved us next door into another nice room. The staff we dealt with were all very helpful and friendly, i suppose it depends on how busy they are as to how accomadating they can be. The rooms are large with comfortable beds, they were cleaned daily, there is a nice pool area, continental breakfast provided ,and tea and coffee available in reception all day. The hotel shuttle is not brilliant the times we used it he was half hour late and took forever to get to the parks, however, it is free some other hotels charge $16 dollars return trip a day, there is a resort fee but it is only $3 a day. Overall, this hotel is fantastic value for money and we would stay here again.
