I can't say enough great things about Castle Hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and memorable. The package they provided was perfect and romantic. We had champange and watched fireworks on the rooftop, a great dinner, and breakfast in bed... our getaway was perfect thanks to the awesome staff. The hotel itself was clean, beautiful, and unique. Free parking and wifi, close to Universal and lots restaurants & shops. We can't wait to return to the castle!

A group of us stayed here for one night and got a great deal. The decor is fun & interesting. The location is great. The hotel was very clean. The staff was out-of-this-world friendly & helpful. The food was fantastic. There is a roof terrace to watch the fireworks at night. We will definitely stay here if we need to be on I-Drive again.

I enjoy the Marriott Autograph Collection hotels, and the Castle doesn't disappoint!! The hotel and architecture are awesome and the staff is even better! Walk out of the courtyard by the pool towards I Drive and you're right in between Tu Tu Tango and Vito's Chop House...can't go wrong with either choice!! Within a mile you have at least 20-30 restaurants and bars to chose from. You can also walk to helipad for a scenic flight or Dave & Buster's for some drinks and games. Great place!

This is a great hotel for something unique when staying near Universal Orlando which is just a short cab ride away. The common areas are very interesting. The tip for this property is that while the address is on International Drive, the hotel actually faces Universal Blvd (the street that run parallel to International Drive). If you are a Marriott Member, don't expect much in the way of membership perks, but still location trumps.

Dear Ken and Karen C,

I want to thank you for sharing your thoughts about your stay at Castle Hotel Orlando with the Trip Advisor community.

Indeed, we do offer an ideal location with both Sea World and Universal Orlando Resort being less than 10 minutes by car or taxi. I am glad you found our location convenient to your vacation needs. Our guests often note that it is nice to make use of the Universal Blvd entrance to the hotel when traffic on International Drive is a bit congested. As for Marriott Rewards recognition, we are currently looking into new amenities and services which can better service the needs of our Elite guests as well as all guests.

I see you reside in Merritt Island…we hope to see you back again soon for your next Orlando staycation!

Be well

In Orlando for a business trip - stayed at the Castle. The hotel was beautiful with all the old charm of a castle with the new brilliance of modern shimmer. The artwork on the walls is amazing and the view of Orlando from the rooftop of the hotel allows a great view of the city to include Disney’s nightly fireworks show. Full bar inside and outside pool side service. Spa was amazing, room service all night. Staff was helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable of the area! Can’t wait to go back, hotel was in a great location with walking distance to the "hustle bustle"!

As you enter The Castle, you can't fail to be impressed by the opulent surroundings of theReception and bar area. However, we felt that this was not the case for the bedrooms. Our room, 821 was classed as a suite. It was a large room with large furniture and a bed that was way past it's sell by date. I had requested a bedboard in advance, incase the bed was too soft. The Hotel were unable to comply with this, although they have apparently ordered one now!. Our room had bright purple wardrobe doors which didnt appear to match anything else. There was also a small and dated bathroom with a very small bath. The room was quite dark, so you needed lights on all the time and it had a strange smell which appeared to be a mix of mustiness and disinfectant.
I note that some Reviewers had raved over the pool area, which was nicely done but rather small , i thought and all sunloungers were in use by mid pm.
We had breakfast in the Garden Restaurant, As Platinum Rewards members, we were issued with vouchers for a "Continental Breakfast". Be careful though, this consists of a smoothie, a couple of tiny muffins, a slice of toast and a coffee. You pay for anything else. We didnt understand this and started ordering juice, cereal etc. Sam our waiter was really helpful though, and we worked it out in the end. Ernie at Reception was great, too!
If you can get a deal, then The Castle is certainly a very different place to stay. We left unsure what audience they are trying to attract.

Dear Peykake,

Thank you so much for taking time to review your most recent stay at Castle Hotel Orlando. As well, it was very nice to have had a few moments to speak with you in person at the Front Desk regarding the bedding and the need for a bed board.

I was well-pleased to read that two of our Associates provided you with exceptional service while you were our guests. Be assured. I will be sharing your comments with them directly and with their immediate supervisors.

All of us at Castle Hotel Orlando look forward to seeing you back in the near future.

Until then...take care.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Castle - I am thrilled they are part of the Marriott Autograph Collection now!!

The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the ridiculous parking prices. I get paying for valet parking, but $15/night plus tax to park in an open lot (not even gated) seems a little unnecessary.

On to the hotel - the place is AMAZING - it actually IS a castle! The decor is amazing and so well themed! We had lunch at the Garden Bistro and the food was delicious, the portions huge, and the prices reasonable (not always the case in a resort!).

The room was HUGE: I definitely recommend a high floor with a pool view if available! The bed was comfortable; only bad thing I can say is that despite basically turning the A/C off, the room was FREEZING! We just snuggled up under the covers, so it wasn't really an impact!

There is an open air terrace on the top floor in which you can enjoy the Disney/Universal fireworks! :-)

The front desk was friendly and prompt open check in and check out; the night supervisor was apologetic and courteous when our keys stopped working and we needed a new set.

We did not get a chance to enjoy the lounge, but it looked nice (and awesomely decorated).

The pool is small, but nice. A good amount a seating, plus a hot tub. No complaints.

Would definitely consider staying again, if only to find more details and decorations that we missed last time!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor (9th if available) and a pool view :-)
