“Very nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2014

My friend and I stayed here 3 nights. We had a 2 queen bed suite. It was a terrific room. It had a couch, chair, desk, 2 flat screen tv''s, fridge and microwave. The pool was ok, clean but fairly small and only 4 feet deep. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant. Stood there several minutes and no one sat us. I asked the bar tender if we were to seat ourselves. The only waitress was busy with a large party, so he took it upon himself to serve us at the bar. He was very good and great personality. I had a margarita and he made it well. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. The only issue I had was they blocked off most of the parking spaces in front of the hotel for maintenance which left a shortage and had to walk aways. breakfast the second day had hash and no meat option. buffet was pretty poor, so plan on going out.

clean, enjoyed the garden tub and the free breakfast. located close to the attractions. saved $$$ versus the disney property we were going to stay at. straight shot to attractions in about 5 minutes travel time.

Room Tip: stayed in a deluxe king away from roadside and it was very quiet

I chose this hotel because of the great reviews I read on TripAdvisor and because our traveling party of 4 adults wanted a suite. Free parking, no resort fees, free breakfast, scheduled shuttles to Disney and the location of this hotel were all pluses for us. Although we thought we would use the shuttle service we found it more convient to use our rental car. In my opinion, I felt the size of the suite on the small size. There is only one sink and it is on the outside of the bathroom. Having an additional sink would have been nice. Everyone is very friendly but I didn't like the "sales pitch for time share" while talking to the concierge. The buffet breakfast is adequate. It changes slightly everyday. We stayed for 6 nights and I would recommend this hotel.

GO SLEEP SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Of all the hotels we have stayed in over our lifetime, this place gets the absolute lowest rating.

Cons:
-DIRTY, Filthy, cringe-worthy gross.(I found two used razor blade refills from previous guest from God only knows when underneath the vanity on the carpet where the maid should have vacuumed but didn't look like it has not been vacuumed for at least a year!). Stained mildew bathtub. Blood drop stains beside bed.Streaks on bathroom walls. Much more.
-Bedding was insanely itchy and did not feel clean. Broke out in hives on my torso after a few nights sleep so we lifted the bed matress to see if there were bed bugs, but instead found a gross pile of spare hairs(not the ones on your head either), crumbs and dust collected on the surface of box spring sheets (this only means that the bottom half of the bed sheets have not been changed out for a VERY long time. yuck!)
-Housekeeping was a disaster every time we came home.
The Maid must absolutely HATE her job or just needs better training. Stayed for 9 nights and every single day coming home from a long day out and about it had appeared that a 5 year old child had made the bed. Not once was our living room table or counters ever wiped clean. Empty bottles were left exactly where we left them and not taken out for recycling. We even gave her a tip on the 5th night to see if she would do a better job....and nope, didn't change anything!
-When we made our Reservations we thought that that was the point of giving them our credit card number, was to RESERVE rooms that we requested. Upon arrival they set us up on three different floors after we had "reserved" 3 rooms on the same floor adjacent to eachother. Then told us that our Reservations only "kind of holds a spot until we get there but if another Guest requests that room then it is given to them first and tough luck for us, we get something else". I don't get it, what is the point of Reservations then?? It's more of a first come first serve then? Why did I even give you my Credit Card number?
-No free Wi-Fi. Fine. Their deal is up to four devices for a hefty price but after Wi-Fi service was purchased, the hotel login wouldn't let us add our other devices (our family stayed in room beside us) and gave us some unprofessional excuse as to why they couldn't connect their devices and then asked for more money to fix the problem!!
-Breakfast was nasty! The hotel description is so nice and mouth watering but the breakfast was the complete opposite. Not many options and insanely greasy. If you must have breakfast there, order the fresh eggs, your stomach will thank you.

Pros:
-Early morning Front desk personnel and mechanics guy were very kind.

I have never had so many complaints about a hotel before but for the price you pay and for the experience you are there for, you would think that they would step up their game. I am truly shocked as it is an American hotel and they are only minutes from Walt Disney world & Universal Studios, that they are not more accommodating and presentable.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone especially friends and family. Spend the extra little money to get something nice and where they are more passionate about the industry they are in. It will be worth it if you are travelling all that way and wanting a great experience.
I don't understand all the positive ratings this hotel has gotten on here because we were extremely disappointed and really cannot agree with any of the other travellers positive ratings.

We stayed at Buena Vista Suites from 1/18/14 to 1/25/14. I have stayed on Disney property (Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk, Beach Club) but wanted a suite. I was very happy with this hotel. Check in was simple and my sisters family was given a room just across the hall from us. The suite was a nice size with extremely comfortable beds, a medium sized refrigerator and two large TVs. The breakfast buffet was good; there are eggs, oatmeal, toast and grits every day, while other options alternate (donuts, Danish, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, ham, corned beef hash). We were not there at a busy time so we had no problem finding seats at breakfast. The hotel is a great location, easy access to the highway, Disney property and many restaurants and stores. The only drawbacks were a smallish pool, one day our room still wasn't made up at 5 pm and there was only one luggage cart. These minor issues aside, I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Normally we try and find the under $100 per night places since we just sleep there. However, this was for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The hotel is well located and easy to get to. The staff is VERY helpful and friendly. The room is indeed a suite and we loved that. Worth the $150 per night cost. Breakfast is very good with a hot and cold selection. The restaurant, Vista Bistro, is a steakhouse located in the hotel. This will be the subject of a separate review.
