Hair on desk. Stains on bed. Safety pins on floor. Starwood Preferred Guest, but got room with awful view. Very disappointed. A lot of money for not very nice stay. Also, wish we had been told of giant cheer competition with thousands of screaming girls. This applies to the Dolphin property.

Nice hotel they really understand how to move people through. We were here for a cheer competition - knowing they were going to be busy they set up snack stations and were selling coffee and drinks along with muffins yogurt and croissants. Rooms were a little on the dated side but they were clean and comfy.

We stayed there in Mar 2015 to combine a conference with some holidays. Check-in took pretty long. Not any support with the luggage. Ariiving at the room: no chance to open the door, changing keys three times. Ech time took at leat 15 min. Finally security opened the door. Great. Wanted to order some food from the pizza service where the flyer in the room was from. First: No we can only supply from the internal restaurants. After insisting: OK but takes one hour... Second day changing the keys again four times while simply not working. Complaining, got a USD 100 Credit and changed the room. Rooms just soso. Checkout: Slow, no support with the luggage. Changed to the Yacht Hotel. Great decision while rooms and service really much better.

After reading other's experiences at the Swan and Dolphin Resorts, I told my husband that upon checking we should ask for a renovated room with a view on higher floor, away from the elevator. The Receptionist assigned us a renovated room with a view towards Epcot, but with limited views of the fireworks.
We have a balcony which affords limited views of the lagoons, the Boardwalk, and Epcot.
The bathroom is rather small, and the door needs to be closed in order to use the toilet comfortably, otherwise it'll bump against your left leg when seated on the 'throne'.
The room does have a small refrigerator, and a coffeemaker. Starbucks Kitamu Fair Trade Coffee, as well as their Pike Place brand. Also the Resort Service Pack covers the Internet, and Dasani bottled water.
We have eaten meals at the Garden Grove restaurant, The Mulino, and the BlueZoo, and the Cabana Beach. We found the best value at the Garden Grove, not just the prices, but if you value eating in a more quiet venue, then this is the place to eat your meals. It'll also afford a view to their pastry kitchen, which I did enjoy learning by seeing how pastry is put together.
I'd like to add that the first time we had lunch at the Garden Grove we ordered the Pork Fried Rice. The portion was sufficient , and had plenty of pork meat. We enjoyed it so much that my husband ordered it the second day, but this time there was no protein in it. My husband said not to mention it to the waitress, but I told her anyway. She remarked that she'd tell the chef. I was pleasantly surprised when she returned, and apologized. She explained that they had a trainee chef who forgot to add the pork, and then remarked that we'd not be charged for that dish. I had also asked for one of the tarts that the pastry chefs were making, again she stated she wasn't sure if those were available, but she'd check. A few minutes later we were presented with a visit from the manager; she gifted us with two raspberry and two chocolate tarts, gratis.
No doubt we have returned for lunch and dinner during our stay. Very pleased.

Room Tip: We were kitty corner near the elevator, but did not hear the elevators, nor the traffic.

We have stayed here 4 times over the last 6-7 years and the dolphin has truly gone downhill in the quality of their rooms. The room we stayed in was dusty, musty and the air quality was terrible. We woke up sneezing, coughing and with watery, irritated eyes. The only reason we give it 2 stars is because of its location.

Came here during a conference, it's large enough to host actually two conferences at the same time. Having starbucks coffee in room was actually very convenient and allowed skipping of queues at the coffee shop in the morning. There's also a fridge to bring breakfast content (and skip queues in the morning). Nice pool area and fake beach area to lay out and relax. Pleasant to stroll around the boardwalk, which also provides about a 1 mile circuit to run. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Dining options are pricey, but you sort of expect that at disney. At least there are plenty.

Very quiet for adults without kids, not much in the way of big bars except ones that are in the restaurants.

Convenient shuttles to magic kingdom and other disney areas. They definitely have the transport thing down!

Would recommend uber back to the airport, much cheaper than coming in from the airport (where there is an uber ban). Especially if you are sharing a cab.

The resort itself seems like it is a bit older, especially noticeable when walking down the corridors. However, the common areas and the room were beautifully appointed and I was happy. The pool area is awesome- there is a little bar to get drinks. I attended a conference here was was fine. Cleanliness gets a 3 out of 5 because I found hairs in the bathroom and bed. Otherwise- everything was crisp and clean. Room service was a above average- quick and tasty. In the morning when I went to check out, the front desk person was no where to be found for 5+ minutes. I even asked the bellman if they could ring for them- they couldn't. The desk person never did show up so I just left. Probably would recommend to families as its walking distance to Epcot and other Disney stuff. Not great for a business trip. Wifi was good.
