This was our first stay at this property and we were excited! The hotel is grand and iconic for Disney regulars. Florida resident rates are available. We found the best rate online with BookIt and the hotel matched that rate. There is a resort fee that is under $20 that includes two bottles of water, wi-fi, entrance to the fitness club, transportation to all Disney Parks and Downtown Disney and a water taxi. Our lower rate took us to a lower floor. Better views can be found from the higher floors but those views come with a price. The room was clean, stylish, had a nice patio, cofee maker with Starbuck's coffee and comfortable beds. The hotel has several pools, restaurants and a game room. The hotel staff was courteous and were there to work! They made sure that guests checking in didn't wait long. I was impressed by their work ethic. We hope to visit again when we can stay for more than one night.

Attended a conference at the Dolphin side of the Swan & Dolphin Hotel this November and the stay was great. Comfortable beds,quiet end room, good food and excellent climate controls made the stay a pleasant one. Location of the meeting rooms were easy to find and close to the center of the hotel.

A group of us travel to Orlando each year for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. This year we stayed at the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel. The hotel has great accessiblit to Epcot via ferry boat. The ferry leaves you at the back entrnace between Paris and Great Britain, beating the crowds. Adding to that plus is a wonderful hotel with wonderful amenities like the pool. The rooms were recently remolded, beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Would highly recoomed for any one traveling to the Orlando theme parks.

My national professional association made an unwise decision to hold a conference at the Swan and Dolphin. The meeting rooms were fine, but in every way the hotel made clear that they assume people holding business meetings on their property are not really interested in getting any work done. Wireless internet was promised but was absent for the whole of my 3-day stay, making it impossible to do what I was there for. But what has motivated me to write my first product review ever is that I phoned guest services and tech support countless times, and was reassured each time but the last that they were sure the internet was working now, or that it would be a matter of minutes before it would work. When they finally admitted that they were having a few problems, I quit calling and just gave up.

Yes, I am also disgusted with my organization for scheduling a business meeting in such a place--and I hope other organizations will take note. For anyone else in the same predicament, I suggest staying off site away from the completely unbusinesslike atmosphere.
