We took our motor home for a three week stay, arriving the day after Thanksgiving 2014. It was a great time, crowd wise, to go. Of course, as you would expect with Disney, everything was spotless. We were in the 1700 loop, which is a full hookup area and it was just a short, pleasant stroll from The Meadows store, pool, activity area. We had our dog and he enjoyed the doggie park, just a little further down.
We never needed a golf cart as buses were timely and plentiful. Save your money.
The stores have pretty much everything you will need food wise but it's expensive.
If you park anywhere but your concrete parking area Disney will leave a nice letter telling you to move or be moved. During holidays all decorations must be turned off at 10:00 pm the start of quiet time.
Spacious, clean lots with sand pad for tents, small grill and picnic table.
We had a blast!
