We stayed at Disney allstar sports resort thinking it was going to be bad according to some reviews but we were surprised. The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels and toiletries and now they have put a fridge in the room which its bril.you can buy some milk and juice and some cereal and have breakfast every morning. You have plenty of sockets to charge your electronic things and a big 32in tv.the lifeguards at the pool stay on duty til 10 but u can swim all night if you want. The best thing is they give u a pass to park for free at all Disney parks. If I had to find a fault the only downside I encountered was that the housekeeping came to clean your room far too early. They were knocking your door at 8.30 to clean your room. The other thing was that in school holidays you get a lot kids running round til late shouting and playing til early hours. Outside school holidays fantastic. But teens a pain in holiday time.so go in september its bril. Karl from Pontypridd Uk.

It was our first trip to Disney and it was a good experience. It was the biggest place we have stayed in before so for us (me and my boyfriend) it was pretty cool. Reception was very friendly and answered any questions we had. It was clean and bright. We are not sports fans but we chose it because we found it more colorful than the other two All Stars. The rooms are nicely themed and nice and neat. It is a standard room but it did have a fridge which was nice. We never went to the pool because there were always too many people since we went during April and it was pretty busy (at least for us who are from a small town). Our bags were delivered to our rooms but not for maybe 2 hours after we got to the hotel. The arcade room is a standard arcade and the Disney store has some food products along with other Disney related products. The lunch room area was spacious and the food was pretty good. No to go boxes but you can take the trays to your room or wherever you want to eat on the property. If you are staying at one All Star hotel you can use the pools at any of the other two All Star hotels which is cool. There are buses that are pretty regular and aside from one or two circumstances they got us to where we needed to go in decent time. Almost missed our ride to the airport because the bus we were on decided to change drivers then change their route to pick up at another park which they didn't do on the way there. We also went to Universal Studios and just asked the front desk and they called and got us a reservation on a bus that came to get us the next morning. On the day of checkout, you can leave your bags at the front outside with the people out there who put it in their storage room. So then you can go enjoy more of Orlando whether it be another theme park or wherever. When you get back, you just tell them your name and get your bag then get on the your transportation to the airport or wherever you are going. There was one instance when one of the people at the front desk were telling us it was our fault for not making the bus that was going to take us to the airport even after us explaining they switched drivers and made other stops they hadn't made before. But someone else at the desk (plenty of people around to help) called the bus company and were able to get us on the next bus and we made it to the airport in plenty of time.

Well what can I say, think one word will do "Amazing". I could not find a fault in this location if I sat here and banged my head against a wall. Staff are unbelievably helpful, if you required information or help about facilities off the resorts you would get it from the staff. Although the food was repetitive in the restaurant it was perfectly cooked and well presented. Family pool and supervision from the lifeguards who did regular pool checks were fantastic, you could relax knowing the children would be safe. All day pool entertainment for the kids in the form of quizzes, water games etc. on our wedding day we were looked after like a fairy tale prince and princess should be, which made our special day that extra special. I would recommend this resort to any family with children, more than 5 stars from me.

Room Tip: My tip if you like the pool area would be to ask and stay in the Surfers Room's, they surround t...

Booked a long weekend at the All Star Sports Resort. Even though it is classified as a value resort, it had the feel of a better property. The staff upon arrival was very friendly and accommodating, even giving us an upgrade to a preferred room. The decor of the room was very appealing. I am still trying to find the shower curtain so I can do my bathroom like they do theirs. The color scheme is eye catching. The pool area was clean, not overcrowded. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend for families, and also for couples. The transportation to the parks is part of the reason we stay on property even though we have our own car. The only thing was the food court was not open because of renovations, but they had a grab and go shop, and you could still use the food court at the other All Star resorts which were within walking distance.

Room Tip: Definitely choose a "Preferred Room" which is close to the pools. If you go with just a s...

Great theme to the resort and the pools were great for the kids to play in. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions. Unfortunately, the food court was being renovated so we either grabbed something from the "Grab and Go" or took the bus to the other "All-Star" resorts. If you plan to eat at the resort, check before hand if the food court is open.

The Key to the World card was very convenient. It served as our room key, park tickets and we used it for purchases. You just need to tap it against the scanners. I'm looking forward to using the new wristband system.

The bus service to the parks was fine as we didn't have to wait long for one to come. The bus to Downtown Disney in the evening was horrible. Most people that aren't at the parks were heading there so it was crowded and it stopped at the other All-Star Resorts. It took about 45 minutes to finally get there.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the pools are quieter as lots of people use them late.

I would advise this resort to anyone who likes quiet at night...this resort catters to the teens (groups) from other countries..they are rude and obnoxious..the teen girls wear nothing to cover their butts ..running around causing small children to watch them . They push thru the food court like your not standing in line. Never will we go to that resort again... Yes we said something to the workers there..but all we got was Im sorry..that they all go there for the group prices....refridge did not work..never told us prior to checking in. LOve Disney Resorts...French Quarters was far the best!!

It's a Disney 'value' hotel which means motel service with the Disney name. The restaurant is undergoing renovations so bus service is provided to the sister all star hotels for a hot meal. On site they have a 'grab and go' with some pre packaged items. Consider staying at the sister all star locations until renovations of the good service area are complete.
