“Amazing food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Trying to avoid all the chains we went driving around while on vacation. Found this little place and could not have been more pleased! The steak Gorgonzola was Amazing! As was the chicken fettuccine. The fresh made bread completed the meal. Went back tonight for the pizza. If staying at Springhill Suites or Fairfield have them deliver to you and avoid Pizza Hut. Krystal was great, very friendly service. Thanks!

“better than the major chains”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

I stopped by and ordered a one topping to go. They made it fresh and quick of course when i get back to the room i'm missing my topping. That said darn good cheese pizza. i guess the star rating is based on where you start. I consider the main stream $5 pizza joints one star and this is much better, maybe 2 stars better. That said your not going to find a world class pizaza for $8 in any city, good value for money yes. 5 star no way.

“Here is the out of the way place for local Italian food of high quality at great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013 via mobile

Please do not be put off by the strip center location and the left hand pickup side. This place has the deep feel of a local owned eatery. Sitting in the small dining area, we had an awesome lunch. From the grilled bread to the hand tossed pizza to the delicately layered eggplant parm, everything we had included large portion and four of us got away with appetizers, salad and lunch for about $12 each.

“The INVISIBLE PIZZA that came with without customer service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

I am finally reviewing this place 5 months later. Believe me, this is a good thing, because I was so incredibly angry that this review would probably be littered with swearing and subsequently be pulled off tripadvisor.

Here are the basics, and I will be brief.

We have 2 kids who were exhausted and did not want to go out to dinner. So we ordered around 7:45PM (which is already late enough, but were prepared to wait an hour or so for delivery).

We were staying at the Marriott and asked our concierge for a recommendation for delivery pizza, and they gave us the number of Famas (who delivers there all the time) and we looked up their menu online and ordered, and were told it would be an hour.

My husband went to the lobby to wait (before 9), and nothing... he waited and waited, and then came back to the room to phone Famas to find out where the pizza was. Oh, it is on its way (apparently) but the driver was having a hard time finding the hotel (it was dark and rainy, and perhaps the driver was half blind and not able to see a huge tower... anyhow). So my husband went back to the lobby to wait, and wait, and wait some more. And then 45 minutes later he calls again.

The girl who answered, excused herself from the phone and came back sheepishly said that the driver had already returned but did not mention anything about not delivering to us. What? The driver returned, did not say anything, yet did not deliver our pizza?! The girl then returned to talk to the owner/manager again, but there was, no offer to redeliver the pizza for free or anything that resembled any kind of apology on their part. They did worse then nothing, they wasted HOURS of our time, disappointed our family and starved our children based on their lie of pending delivery!

It was almost 10:30 and we still hadn't eaten. We dressed the kids and headed out to a restaurant that was open late-night, since there are not many options of things open at that time of night.

I don't know if this guy figures tourists aren't going to be his regular customers so doesn't give a *%$! about us, or if he just has no business sense. f you can't figure out how to deliver to customers, don't offer delivery. Simple!

“Won't disappoint”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013 via mobile

Our family stopped at Famas after a long day at the theme parks based on great online reviews. We arrived to a cozy restaurant in a strip mall. The waiter was quirky and which added to the charm of the restaurant. His starting recommendation of bruschetta and the family style Greek salad was much appreciated. Our entire table loved both. Every person ordered a different dish and every person loved what they received. The food came out in a timely fashion. We really enjoyed our dinner and it was a highlight of our 9 day trip to Florida.
