“Great Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Excellent customer service, truly outstanding. Hotel lounges and rooms are very nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. Bar is nice the Italian restaurant is great, the salmon unbelievably good. You can get an awesome full breakfast in the restaurant or a quick bite in the morning at the bar and they serve Starbucks coffee. The hotel is right in front of the Convention center, be mindful however that the convention center is huge so you may have a bit of a walk depending on which hall you are visiting. I really liked this hotel, I highly recommend it.

Wow--I don't know where to start. My spouse and I traveled to Orlando on business in August of 2012. We arrived five hours before check-in time, but we were able to check-in anyways. Our room was upgraded to a suite with a kitchen (mini-fridge, microwave, bowls, silverware, cabinets, sink, table with four chairs) and sitting area. The furniture was new and the suite was handsomely furnished. We enjoyed gazing out over the pool from our furnished balcony. The bathroom was large and clean, and we had two closets with bath robes. One closet contained an iron/ironing board and the other contained a small safe. I always check the bed area for creepy crawlies--none to be found. The bed was comfortable and faced a flat screen TV that was mounted to the wall. We also enjoyed a second flat screen TV in the sitting area. The Westin had a nice work out facility (for a small fee, the Westin will provide you with workout wear), business center, lobby, and restaurant/bar. Wi-fi access was free in the lobby area, but you had to pay to use it in your room. We had to pay for parking ($15 per day), but due to an error at check-in, our parking fees were waved for the remainder of our stay. Unfortunately, the pool does not close at dark, so I was kept awake by the sound of screeching children late into the night. We picked this hotel so we could walk to the Orlando convention center. It is a 25 minute walk to the East Concourse of the convention center, which I don't recommend in the August heat. We had some problems with the card readers in the parking garage and on our door to the suite, but after several attempts we were granted access. I recommend you sign up for the Starwood Preferred Guests program. It is free of charge, and the reason that my room was upgrade to a suite for free. The suite made the price ($160 per night) worth the stay.

Enjoying upgraded accommodations, what a lovely way to spend a business trip! We always appreciate it when a guest is inspired to share their experience at The Westin Imagine Orlando, and it's a thrill when we learn that our guests have enjoyed such a fulfilling escape. While staying with us, we're glad that you found not only your guestroom to be so well appointed but you were able to keep up with your fitness routine and make use of our New Balance lending program. Our pool area is certainly a refreshing oasis from the summer heat in Orlando and we hope that the sound from other guests enjoying it wasn't too much of a disruption. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back again! Thank you for sharing your review.

This is a Nice hotel that is very clean. I love the signature white tea smell in the lobby. Our room was perfect. The Bed was "heavenly" and we loved the double showerhead. we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite because we're preferred guests. The downsides to this hotel is $15 to self-park daily and Internet is $15 per night. The lobby doesn't have wifi but there is complimentary use of the computers in the business center for the first 30 minutes.

We always appreciate hearing from our guests, thank you for taking time to provide us with your review. From the moment you arrive at the Westin Imagine Orlando until the time you leave, we want everyone to be relaxed and well taken care of and are so glad you enjoyed the treat of upgraded accommodations as well as our Westin Heavenly Bed and Westin Heavenly Bath! While we do indeed charge for parking and Internet access, our fees are comparable to most area hotels but we hope it wasn't too much of an inconvenience for you. Wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel including guestrooms as well as all public spaces while our Business Center is available to all guests with no time restrictions. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back again, thank you.

Stayed for 2 nights at end of August. First impressions were very good, staff very friendly and obliging, hotel looked clean and welcoming. We were offered 2 different types of room on arrival but chose to keep our original booking. We were 2 adults and 2 children and we booked a 1 bed suite, so children stayed on sofa bed which was not comfortable at all and they did not enjoy their sleep. Our heavenly bed was just heavenly, along with the best shower I have experienced in a North American hotel, the heavenly shower!
The general feel of the hotel is I think more for business stays, there were not many people vacationing that I saw and the decor of rooms and communal areas did not give the holiday feel.
We were only in the hotel a limited time, just for sleeping really, as we visited Magic Kingdom for the day we were there, which was about a 20 min journey. Good access to International Drive, as it is not far for restauarants, etc about a 5 min drive.
Parked our car in the garage around the corner, which was $13 per night.
We did not get to try the pool or exercise room, but they looked very inviting.
Overall I would say that it is a good hotel, of Westin standard, but did not feel like I was on vacation when there, would I stay there again, don't think so there is so much choice in Orlando.

This place was superb! My husband and I stayed for two nights while we went to Universal. It wasn't far from any of the attractions and across the street from a convention center. We had a late check in (after midnight) and the woman at the desk was pleasant, courteous and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. Got up to the room and was pleasantly surprised. I had expected a nice, clean room, but the room we had was awesome! We had booked a king suite, but didn't expect it to be quite that spacious. It had a desk, comfy chair, love seat with matching chair, coffee table as well as a kitchenette that had a large sink, marble tops and cabinets/drawers along with a mini-fridge. Everything was immaculate. The bathroom was a nice size with more marble as well as a vanity mirror. The shower boasted dual shower heads with their "Heavenly" brand. They were surprisingly refreshing, even with a lower water pressure. Even the towels were above-standard quality for hotels. The bed was also of the "Heavenly" line and was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever slept in. Further, the air conditioner was super quiet and worked beautifully. The desk came equipped with a power strip in the front, which was super convenient. 32" flat screen tv was nice. Finally, the small balcony was a nice touch. Check out was smooth and quick with another friendly staffer. For the price I paid for the room (AAA rate), it's a no brainer on where I'd stay again in Orlando. Even with the full rate, I'd be back! I whole-heartedly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Orlando.

Stayed at Westin this weekend. Went to Universal for a show. Booked on price line and was happy to get the Westin as i had positive experiences with this chain in the past Unfortunately the staff was rude, getting a double bed was a problem eventhough the hotel was empty. As I regularly travel to Orlando, i would rank this as the rudest staff.

Had problems with my key and when i reported it to the desk (within 5 minutes of checking in). I was told i must have deactivated (both cards) as i had a cell phone and it was my fault my keys did not work. The girl went as far as to call security to see if anyone else had problems with their cards getting in the parking garage. Rather then fixing the problem the staff was the worst. Again, they need to rethink who they have working at the registration desk as i will stay at the rosen shingle creek next time i go to universal,.

After the show, returned to the hotel to find there restaurant was closed and the staff was sent home early. As stated the place was empty. I would not stay here again.

We just stayed there for two nights and the hotel is nice. I have no complaints other then the self Parking fee. I rather the hotel charge a higher room rate then charge 14 dollars to park a car in a garage. I feel like i am getting ripped off. The hotel also seemed void of a personality. The pool was empty and the pool bar was never opened. Not one employee stood out during our trip neither in a positive or negative way.The hotel was clean and beautiful but I probably would try somewhere else in the future.
