We stayed in one of the large town houses to the left as you enter the resort for 2 weeks and it was amazing. The house has everything you could ask for and is very spacious. The pool area is very nice and so is the lake. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us truckloads of information about buying park tickets, restaurants and any other queries we had. Also it is situated in a prime loaction. It is the best resort my family and I have ever stayed at.

Spent 2 weeks here in late May early June 2013. We travelled on a Virgin package and choose this hotel carefully after reading lots of reviews. We were really glad we chose it to. When we arrived we were given a deluxe apartment which was massive and extremely clean (apart from 2 bowls of cereal that the cleaners had missed under one of the beds.) The apartment was beautiful with a great view over Orlando.

I don't think I ever got to grips with finding out what was TV in the evenings but apart from that was very happy. The wifi was fine although I did think there was some confusion about which apartment was connected to which router. Any time we had any issues with things like the aircon maintenance staff came to help very quickly. Whenever I had to speak to Reception about things they were professional and helpful.

The lake was beautiful and the grounds well maintained. The pools were also lovely and clean but could probably do with some more shade options for people that can't be in the sun all the time.

The gym was fine also. The apartment had all mod cons including 3 TV's, microwave dishwasher and cooker, ironing board, hairdryer, free safe, en suite toilet/shower and then a separate toilet/bathroom for the massive second room.

I'm really glad we trusted the reviews on here because we had a fabulous holiday.

One top tip. Make sure you switch off your mobile phone roaming before you land and if you have an android phone download a map of central Florida so you don't have to stream it once you're there. Also use the Tripadvisor Orlando app which was very useful and most importantly if you're renting a car make sure you know where the complex is and don't end up spending ages finding the hotel.

Incidentally it was central Orland so really close to Universal and Seaworld

The apartment was on the ground floor, it was clean and very spacious. The facilities in the apartment are great, all kitchen appliances, tvs, washer, dryer, literally all home comforts. It is also very secure. The decor was slightly dated in style ( although, i appreciate all apartments are different) and it often felt quite dark in the apartment. This was mainly due to the large bushes, that whilst provided privacy, also blocked out light. It was a little like 'attack of the Triffds' when you sat on the patio!! which was a shame as we would have liked to have been able to sit in the sun after a long day in the parks.....
The reception staff were always helpful and the pool areas were fantastic, always clean, plenty of space and very secure. The lake also had a great trail to run around.
The location of the apartments is ideal, very central for all parks.
However, you cannot walk to International Drive ( as indicated by our travel company) This was a disappointment to us as meant we were using the car a lot.
The one let down for us, was that over a 2 week period our apartment was not cleaned.... I'm not sure why we didn't complain, as this didn't seem right. But we maintained the cleanliness ourselves and cleaned linen and towels ( using the washer and dryer)

Room Tip: 1st or 2nd floor if you would like the sun Lake views were good

I came here with my husband and 4 daughters. On arrival the apartment was better than we expected. It was very spacious and very clean. Had all the mod cons we required. the WiFi in our apartment was fantastic. The swimming pool was great and loved the late evening closing too.
The location of Vista Cay was ideal, 5 mins from Universal Studios, Sea World, Aquatica, Wet n Wild etc.

We booked a 3 bed condo through virgin holidays and requested a condo close to the club house due to our mum being disabled when we checked in we were told the condo was over the other side by the publix, I was disppapointed and upset until we got to the condo, we were give a 3 bed 4th floor condo overlooking the lake and we could see seaworld from our balcony.
Everything was perfect, the bedrooms was huge and their was plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teens.
The full kitchen was helpful on days we didnt eat out, we got locked out one day and the clubhouse dealt with this within minutes.
the pool was a good size, not as big as the one at the clubhouse but most nights we had the pool to ourself .
Publix is a 2 minute walk from the condo which was great and the kids rented DVDs at night for $1.28 , the staff were friendly and the shelves were well stocked . Nypd pizza was also a god send on a late night and it next to publix.

We didn't hire a car and walked to international drive a few times, took less than 30 mins . Taxis were cheap from the club house, $ 8 to seaworld and discovery cove, $ 13 to universal and $ 6 to international drive .

We will be back in 2015 - great place for families

Room Tip: Try and get a lake view condo and watch he seaworld fireworks

Everything perfect , really better than a hotel. We've stayed for one week and couldn't find any problem . There's a Publix supermarket right next block and a Wallgreens inside. And Millenium management is very helpful. Great location.

Following 4 previous holiday's all staying in hotels (both on Disney and International Drive) this year we decided to give a 'town house' a go. We travelled with Virgin and upgraded to an executive townhouse as there were 7 of us and it was perfect! Clean, spacious and well equipped. Our townhouse was spilt over 3 floors, with 3 berooms and 4 bathrooms and had everything we could possibly need. The complex was well kept, the staff were friendly and helpful (even providing packaging for the giant 'Minion' my son won at Universal) and it was a real shame to leave. The next time we visit Orlando without doubt we will choose Vista Cay.
