What more could you want, a one bedroom unit, two full baths, 2 bunk beds ( in an open area), and a full kitchen, living room and beautiful lakeviews. Great balcony overlooking the lake, you can see the Disney area fireworks from the walkways to your room, complex has workout room and pool area. What it does not have is a restaurant but has places nearby, even a few you can walk to, but a fantastic value for a family vacation. Good location but best if you have your own car but a shuttle is available. Also close to shopping.

First off, my family usually uses a Disney resort and stay inside the resorts. We booked late for the food and wine festival and, of course, Disney had nothing open that I could afford. SO....we found a great place with the perfect distance from Disney. We stayed on the 15th floor that overlooked the lake. We booked a one bedroom condo and they upgraded us to a two without charge. The room had a master, with one bed, another room with two full beds, and a set of bunk beds in the hallway. Washer and dryer. At night, families can catch all the local fireworks from the roof. The is a Starbucks just outside the lobby, CVS across the street. The condo was very clean and modern. Beds were SUPER comfortable. We loved it so much, we booked our Christmas and spring visits at Blue Heron. I love it and will return many more times.

Now some things to be aware of. I will let you know some things that should be noted. NOT negatives, just a heads up so you can prepare as we will for our next visit. There is very few cooking utensils, no cookie sheet, no large mixing bowls(in case you wanna make some Mickey pancakes, just saying), Salt and pepper shakers with nothing in them. No tongs to flip bacon. NO wifi in the rooms, only at the pool, only a wired connection and you have to sit at the counter by the phone. The iron in our room did not work. Shower head was pretty lame, bathrooms are amazing until you turn on the shower. The TV in the bedroom was a small flatpanel computer monitor, sorta. Although all the TVs in the house had DVD players and there was a large rental machine in the lobby. Great Idea. Now all the above did not cramp or down our trip, we made due. I just thought that I would share what I experienced so you can make your trip THAT much more enjoyable.

Enjoyed the property. Organized and helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice to have breakfast in the suite. Views of pool and lake were beautiful.
Used the shuttle to Disney and it worked out well. Everyone was very nice. Starbucks is right in front. Our sutie was down the hall so no noise.

Having stayed on Int Drive, on US27 in villas and in the LBV area at Cyprus Point this is the 1st time we have stayed at the Blue Herron Beach Resort.

We have a 1 bed unit that serves our needs well and has an excellent view over Lake Bryan and the resort pool area.

The suite is clean, tidy, and well appointed, but the furniture is getting slightly tired.

Otherwise the location is perfect, with easy access to the I.4 highway, LBV, Kissimmee and all the theme parks.

My only tip would b to ask for a room away from the elevators as it can be a bit noisy when families etc are returning from a night out.
