“This place is getting old....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Once a premiere setting for college sport and music having hosted the Wold Cup and Olympics, this place is now run down. BUT it is still the only place in town to see certain events. The renovations that are scheduled to begin in 2014 should help bring this place back to life!

“This place is in the past”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Went for the capital one bowl (Go Dawgs!). The stadium is old, crumbling, in a bad, scary location. Needs some new concrete, new paint, and some TVs in the concession lines because the lines are long since there aren't enough concession areas. There's also not enough parking, so they run buses. We walked back to the Geico garage where we parked, through some scary hoods. Thankfully we were with 100s of people! I'd close this venue. Staff was friendly though...good for them!

“Great stadium!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013 via mobile

Ive read reviews for stadiums before and wonder what makes people feel one is good versus one is bad...
This review is very short, cause this was exactly what i like in a stadium. We attended the capital one bowl 2013 there. The sections were all well marked, the gates were easy to find, the seats and rows were also well marked. The seat bottoms are a plastic contoured material which works good for about the length of the football game. I wouldnt want to sit in them for eight hours though.
There were plenty of concessions to, be found without having to walk far. Bathrooms were also plentiful and decently clean!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

Attended the Champs Sports Bowl with Florida State & Notre Dame.
Fun day, Stadium needs to be updated with better concession stands, restrooms etc. They did fix the field with new turf which is now much better.

“A complete and utter embarrassment”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

Go at your own risk. This stadium if you want to call it that, I wouldn't, is in one of the most disgusting neighborhoods in America. Prepare to get accosted if you go here. The place was so pathetic it inspired UCF to build there own stadium to escape this ghetto. Newsflash: No city in America still employs the build it in the cesspool and it will revive the area. All you are doing is missing an opportunity to have a nice stadium in an area of the city with quality restuarants and activities that may stimulate the local economy. Shockingly the powers to be in this good ole boy stupid is as stupid does contrived metropolis approved millions of taxpayer dollars to be thrown at this trash heap although it is home to nothing but a third rate bowl game and an annual FAMU Bethune Cookman game which generally leads to increased residency at the Orange County Jail. Orlando, the city stupid, take 1,145.
