“Always a pleasure, can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

This resort never let's us down! Stayed here many times and its always a pleasure. Staff are very nice, rooms are huge and location is very close to all the parks. Close to shopping, has restaurant and in house pizza place. Will stay here next trip as well. Well worth the money, you will not be disappointed.

we only stayed at lake buena vista resort as an alternative to NV and so pleased we did. Although initially sceptical as we have always stayed on I-Drive, apartment was immaculate, spacious and jacuzzi in room was brilliant after long day walking around parks or shops.we stayed there for 21 nights with 3 adults and 3 kids so it was great having full kitchen with washer/dryer no dirty washing to take home. all staff were very friendly and helpful but special big up to Eric B on front desk, who dealt with any queries efficiently no matter how trivial or what time of day or night :) kids loved the pirate ship pool, we made use of scheduled park transport which saved us a fortune on taxis.found the adjacent outlets to be very good value cheaper than the nearby premium outlets sometimes. maid service was daily and thorough. Only downsides were the onsite shop and onsite 'irish pub' , the shop was very expensive with limited choices which meant we took to walking the mile to nearby Walmart every other day also the pub menu was quite bland and it was expensive to eat there compared to places like Ponderosa or Millers so we choose to travel to I-drive on a night to eat. cant fault the actual hotel and will definitely stay there again instead of I-Drive we arrived home today and are already planning our return trip for next year.

We had a great experience at Lake Buena Vista. Condo was clean and spacious, and the tub in the master bedroom was very large and very welcome after long days at the park. I "forgot" that we were staying in a condo, so there wasn't housekeeping service or other usual "hotel amenities." But so nice to have a washer/ dryer, and a full refridgerator and kitchen. The staff we encountered were kind and professional (Ursula, check in; Eric on the phone and Front Desk at check out). Our in room safe wasn't working and they quickly repaired that for us- the maintainence staff was excellent. Best part for our family was the pool- the kids actually wanted to leave the parks in time to get back and swim in the "pirate pool." Bar at the pool was nice. The pool is a hike to navigate, and hard to find a good place to watch all the kids (some strong swimmers, and some who need watching), but the slide made for great entertainment. Location was great for Disney... easy in, easy out, and wish I'd had more time to shop at the outlet stores right next door! Only down side would be the metal carts the staff uses to move linens/ trash is very noisy, but didn't really bother us as we're early risers. Thanks for a great 1st visit!

Visited the property for the first time. Had a GREAT experience. Eric at the front desk was very knowledgable and friendly. I think I bugged him 100x for things, but he was always ready to help! I will definately visit on my next trip to Orlando!

Stayed 9 nights. Really good location and accommodation was spacious and well appointed. Good kitchen and laundry facilities within the unit made things very easy. Only complaint is that after paying in advance for the accommodation we are still required to pay a $10-11 daily resort charge. I cannot understand why this cost is additional to the accommodation costs? There is also additional costs to have towels changed, room cleaned etc but costs are not excessive. We hired a car at the airport for this leg of the journey (and also bought a $100 GPS). Both have been invaluable and allowed us to make the maximum of our time here. In hindsight, there is a small cost saving to purchase theme park tickets online, however we did not have access to printing facilities. This resort has a person available at their reception to book and this was a great way to get tickets and streamline the process of getting into each theme park. Location is also handy to a Walmart (1 mile) and discount outlet shops are right at the resort. There is also another outlet shopping location (called premium) only 3 miles from this resort. Really good pool complex foe kids and adults and also does meals and has a nice bar/pool surrounds. Complementary wifi was an added bonus that we really appreciated.

I used TA to select this resort so I thought I would contribute to the reviews to help others. there were 2 adults, 2 kids (11 and 8) and 2 seniors in our party. We booked a 3 bedroom suite and it was great. Spacious and the kids had their own room (twin beds) with TV and the senior ladies shared a big queen bed with TV and shared a bathroom with the kids. Small kitchen but it had all the necessities, washer, dryer too. The master suite had a walkin closet, walkin shower and big jet tub. Tons of room. The living room had an old style big screen tv and we had a balcony. We were in building 2 that backed onto LBV outlet mall. This was great for the seniors. While we went to legoland they walked to the mall and shopped for the day. Wheelchair rental was available at the mall office for $5 per day. The weather was cool in early december so the kids didn't go in the pool. it was pretty neat with the pirate ship. Close by was a walmart supercentre and lots of chain restaurants. The resort had a well stocked convenience store as well. This resort was also close to all the disney parks. We would definitely stay here again. We also used the business centre to print off our legoland tickets easily. Free wifi too.

We loved this place. (Mom, Dad, two boys 10 & 12) We had a two bedroom suite. It was like being in a second home. The full kitchen worked out great for breakfast, making snacks and some dinners. The kids loved having their own room with TV and two double beds. My wife loved the in room laundry!

The pool slide was open all day. We often end our Disney days at the pool. The water slide was a lot of fun.

You can't beat the price, amenities and the proximity to Disney World.

We visited other hotels while there and determined we made a great choice. We were just as close as we would have been if we stayed in a Disney hotel.

When we come back we will stay here again.

One critique - there isn't enough hot water to actually fill the spa tub in the master bedroom.

Room Tip: Get a pool view room. We'd have our breakfast on the balcony every morning over looking the pool...
