Owner description: Already voted "most improved golf course in Central Florida" by Florida Golf Central Magazine, Lake Orlando Golf Club is ready to provide an unparalleled experience for golfers of all abilities. Once on the golf course, golfers fall in love with both the beauty and challenges offered by this Lloyd Clifton design. Lake Orlando is unrivaled for both its demand of accuracy and its scenic beauty. Each hole has its own unique character, offering magnificent views over lakes and wildlife while moving left and right through tall thickets of majestic Cypress tress. Apart from enjoying the scenery, golfers must hit precise shots and manage their golf game diligently, as this is a shot-makers course with tight fairways and water on every hole. Lake Orlando offers four sets of tees to make for an enjoyable and challenging experience for golfers of all abilities.

“It's not that bad...”

Agreed, the whole course could be in better condition but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a really good price to play or are looking for a good place to learn and take your time, then this is a great course.
The grass isn't perfect but the carts are new and have gps, and for what your paying to play I think that's pretty fair.
No it's not pristine but for a weekday round it's perfectly fine and cost effective.

Also it's really neat to hit the range and they all go in the lake. If your lucky you will see the scuba diver they pay to go collect all the range balls! Kinda interesting!

“What a joke”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2012 via mobile

This is the worst run course I have EVER played. Bad from top to bottom. Manager needs anger management classes the staff follows the leader. WOW just amazed that the owners would put up with this. I guess they do not read these reviews. I can remember in the early 2001 or 2002 the course was in as good of shape as just about any in Orlando. Owners might want to think about bringing that staff back. Won't go back.

“Lots of water. Fun to play!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2012

Tourists have told me that it's one of the best golf buys in Orlando. You have to hit it accurately or you'll loose a lot of balls. There is a minimal club house and food menu, but if golfs your thing, this is worth a try. Have played it many times and never got bored.

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

Too put it bluntly; this place is a dump. For the price I would suggest Ventura or Dubbs or even Casselberry. If you can get on for 14 dollars it might be worth it, otherwise steer clear of this place. We saw the cart lady one time in 12 holes. We called the clubhouse and she answered and said she was done. She said she was going to go golf. This was at 1:30. Turn this golf course into a preserve and save the unexpecting guest from wasting a day of terrible fairways and the smallest greens in Orlando. Dump.

“Nice course and conditions were good also”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2011

I played here several times during a recent visit and it was well worth the price paid. Yes, it did seem management was not very attentive and most of its employees could be nicer and more friendly to its customers. Customer service did not seem to be a priority but you go to play GOLF. Always a top priority of mine is course conditions which were very good and made the round very enjoyable. Some fairways are tight and shot placement was important as well as several holes having postage stamp greens. I felt it to be quite challenging.
