For lunch, Adult $25.99; Child 3-9 $13.99. Not that busy. But they still went through the motions of handing us a buzzer and making us wait for one minute until the buzzer went off before we were led into a half empty restaurant. Silly Disney. We got a table to ourselves for our family of four. During busy times you’d have to share the tables of 8 with another party. Buffet was excellent. Usually, there are a few dishes that I stop eating because I don’t want to waste good stomach space on food that I’m not in love with. Not this buffet. We loved everything and went back for more. Don’t forget the spaetzle! Son ate all starches (including pretzel buns. Mmm, pretzel buns) and daughter ate all meat (some amazing sausage). A bit of a show at lunch. Singing, accordion, bells and alpenhorns. They called people to dance the polka and first no one would go. Then a few moms and kids went out so I asked the 4-yr old. She ignored me. Suddenly it dawned on her that she wanted to dance just as the song ended…and the show ended. She was mad. So we had to go dance to the background music by ourselves. *sigh*
I understand that the show is bigger and there are a few more dishes at the buffet at dinner. But it’s $10 more per person. So if you’re not on the dining plan, take that into consideration.
