“Busy place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

Ice cream here is wonderful but it is a very busy place so don't go unless you have a lot of time to wait. But if you do it will be worth the wait.

“Best icecream on Disney property”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Beaches and Cream is a must do stop for us when we make our annual trip to Walt Disney World. The servers wear pastel costumes in a 50s style, and the colors transform you back to the old fashioned icecream parlor. The burgers are best on Disney property, and the icecream is a must. The cones are huge, and the Kitchen sink, a concoction of varied icecream flavors, all the toppings, and a whole can of whipped cream is a messy and memorable experience. We did that once as a family....no one could finish it, and by the end it was a fun and drippy icecream soup.

The menu was just updated with higher prices, and some healthy choices, but the food is still good and less like the other fast food options in the park. It is a great place to get a cone on a hot day, (there is a takeout window) and a good place to grab lunch without a priority seating. If there is a wait, there is a fun arcade next door, and you can people watch at tables outside.

If you have a few mouths to feed, try the Kitchen Sink...it's AWESOME! But, you gotta have the mouths to feed.

“Try the Kitchen Sink!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

I love Beaches and Cream. The burgers, fries and shakes are great. But for a real experience, try the Kitchen Sink. You will need group effort to make a dent in this. It is a sundae with I forget how many scoops of ice cream (it fills a kitchen sink) along with every topping in the shop and an entire can of whipped cream. The whole shop knows when someone orders one because lights go down and bells and whistles start. All the staff serve it to you literally in a kitchen sink. The whole place cheers. Very cool experience! The kids LOVE it!

Brought me back to youth. The original Malt Shoppe.Food was as I remembered as a kid myself.Hambergers and fries with a fountain soda.Milk shakes to die for.And if you could...A 15 scoop bowl. There were many takers that night, but not all were accomplished the goal.
