“Good Food but not always easy to get in”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2011

We managed to eat here once, very good food. We did try a couple of other times but got quoted up to a two hour wait.

“Old fashioned ice cream shoppe filled with fun and YUM!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2011

To our family, no trip to the World is complete without a visit to Beaches & Cream located at the Beach Club. While very small (approximately 10 booths/tables), it is manageable, probably because guests are so focused on the heavenly ice cream creations. There is also a "to go" section if you want to enjoy all the wonderfulness on the run. They do not take advance reservations, and, as expected, your entire party must be present to be seated. Food is very good - delicious burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads, but the ice cream, oh, the ice cream! No matter what you order, it is going to be great, but the very best (and tradition for us) is the Kitchen Sink. The Kitchen Sink is comprised of eight scoops of ice cream (2 scoops each of: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee and mint chip) served in a stainless steel "sink" with all the toppings in the house AND a whole can of whipped cream! "All the toppings in the house" includes bananas, brownies, muffins, angel food cake, Oreos, hot caramel, hot fudge, hot butterscotch, hot peanut butter, pineapple and strawberry, maraschino cherries. It costs around $25, but splitting it between 5-6 people averages out to what you would likely spend if everyone got a sundae. Oh, when you order the Kitchen Sink, be prepared for everyone in Beaches and Cream to know about it. And, order extra napkins!

“Disappointing”

Always a huge wait, mainly because it is incredibly small inside. Staff was unfriendly.

“Go for ice cream only!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2011

Went here for lunch with daughter while staying at yacht club. She had hot dog and I had burger. The burger was not good - pre-made frozen. The fries were OK. Service was fast. It is much smaller inside than I expected. I would only go here again for ice cream or shake.

“Just Plain Fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

During our stay at the Beach Club we had burgers there a couple times, a bit pricey but good. The teens in our group said the milkshakes were really good, and of course the Kitchen Sink is a must try. The decor is bright and happy. Other than that it isn't cheap, the only down side is that there aren't enough tables. They need to look for a way to expand that shop.
